Anyways about the hands I meant that the fingers don't actually look natural.
And the heart emotion looks more like a boot instead of an actual heart.

I think you should make Putty face the complete opposite direction, as in the body faces the other way, and the head facing more the right. This would emphasise more on the love/hate relationship (?).

There is no love/hate realtionship, putties always look like that(they have no expressions). And I edited him anyway.

I see the resemble between the sprite and the actual art I think you nailed the looked.

hmm, i don't get why your all being so negative, its MUCH better then some other stuff we sometimes see posted,, and i like the way the feet are placed, makes her look all cutesy =3

XD and the heart is good that way, it makes it look like its being blown away from her or something,, love it =3

@mabelma: you can't get more detail into those fingers then there already is, if you would, it would look akward =3

and hands are always hard, im having a very hard time spriting them, heck, im even having a hard time drawing them

It's not the details of them it's how the right hand interlaces with the other hand but fix it if you can.

Also I knew it was a heart. Pretty obvious. But I think it'd be cooler if you rotate it just a bit. Like, 23 degrees instead of 45?
