The hardest part is the winged Goonie's overworld, left and right.

Shading on the sideways and backwards poses is very square.
The beak is quite squished in the battle poses, and th feet are in the wrong perspective. Highlights on the wings (and the general shape of the wings) looks kind of odd in places too.

I was going to take out the battle poses because it was a bit hard for me, but what do you mean by the shape of the wing?? Do you mean in all of them and where does it look odd??

The wings look too dimensional, very round, not as flat as you would expect a wing to be.
Highlights are worst on the last frame of each set. the thin part of the wings should be brighter than the rest of the wing assuming the lighting hasn't changed from the previous frames. The blue tips should probably have some highlights in at least a couple of the frames. Then just the shape of the highlights, rather square in places, like his back, and some strange pointed highlights that don't make sense with the soft shading everywhere else.

Good but you have to arrange the shading.

I changed the back and side shading, but I don't think it looks very much different. Should I keep messing around with it... And the highlight/shading on the last set of the winged is really bugging me, I can't get it right.

Ok here is whats wrong. The shading looks too square, and I would just round it out and make it about a pixel smaller. Everything else is

why do the beaks rise and sink but the eyes stay sill?
06-03-2008, 09:02 PM
The beaks are bobbing up and down. Should I change that too?
