Thank you all! I'm suprised alot of people like it. I have never made a sprite this big.
@available: Haha, I don't take it as offesence. That's what he looks like really. I laughed a few times at it.
@Ridge Troopa: Thank you, I kinda worried about your opinion the most. It might be too much..I can always reduce it down. It's still 22 colors though so woo!(didn't add a single color)
Also, I have a question for you. Would his other forms count as his overall pallete too? Like his Tank head will have alot of green..

In my honest opinion, I think you should aim for no more than 4 shades on that gray. It's just way too much. Put it next to a ripped boss sprite and you'll notice it immediately. Yes, it's amazing as is, but it's not in style.
Haha, if you think that's big... Just wait until you see mine.
Thank you! Now I must find a better grey pallete in M&L3. I should be able to fit all those colors in that 31 pallete range if I reduce the grey..
And oh gosh. I can just imagine yours.
It's going to fit in both DS screens aosnfs

Your choices would be limited to the Trash Can Robot, Dark Fawful, Caged Goomba Enemy, and the Treasure Chest Enemy if your looking for gray/grey.
Yeah, which isn't much. Might just make my own.

I prefer Overworld #2, personally.
As for in-battle, maybe some sheen could be on the belly? It looks a bit plain. It might not work. Just an idea.
As for form 2, I agree that it has a bit too many colors, but if you can't make it work with fewer, don't freak out. It's a wonderful start. I especially can't wait for the Sledge attack.
EDIT: Oh, I see you already added a sheen to form 2's body. Never mind, then.

Wait a minute, I just remembered.
Smithy 2 doesn't have any feet... for some reason... see:
Oh, now that I get a long look at it...
The eyes and teeth kind of look too far apart. That or the whole head it a bit too wide.

hmm, looks super cool so far sp but.... looking at the original sprite, there's barely any room between the eye holes ya know? where as the custom has two finger's width :X I'd say just pull the head in a bit.

The second head is definately too wide.
Thank you all for the C+C! I really appreciate it.
I pull everyone's critisim together and fixed them:
Metal pallete is reduced and head is fixed. Now um...can I continue on to animation or is there still something wrong? Oh and I fixed the way his face was facing too.

Wow, fuck. Yeah I looked over it. Don't think there is anything else wrong. You can probably start the animation.
