The uppercut pose looks pretty good in terms of action, but that second one... well, first I can't really tell what the pose is, and second it looks a bit stiff.
If it's meant to be a kick, his raised foot is all wrong. Kicking like that would be like stubbing all your toes at once! Ow. Most kicks are delivered with the ball of the foot or the side of the foot, I think. I could be wrong though, I am hardly a martial arts expert :B
Yeah that does make sense. I'll try that next time. It is a kick but its so awkward that it look more like an interpretive dance than anything...

Fixed this up some more
uuhhhh. The blue girl's arms are a bit short and the pink girl's head is a bit big, but I'ma fix those in photoshop rather than redraw those hands or that face, fff.
