Yeah! I had to cheat a bit to get any visible texture, but I'm really starting to get the hang of it! c:
I feel sort of silly for taking so long to get it working, since it's actually pretty much a default brush in Paint Tool Sai that I didn't have to do very much tweaking to pooped this out a while ago with pretty much no sketching (hence it being broken as fuck) don't remember if I posted it but I like it :V Thanked by: Chris2Balls [:B], Gwen,

MOAR STUPID POINTLESS GAME SPEC ART
probably too hi-res, but i was imagining bomberman and so made it a bit more polies than usual because his bombs get a lot of screentime

thanks! c:
i have no idea how to approach sparks, though does the wick disappear when these cartoony bombs ignite? cause if that's the case, idk how to make parts of a model disappear. maybe with code.
Well when Bomberman pulls out his bombs they are automatically lit. They usually just flicker a little (not disappear-flicker, but... uh, the fuse gets bigger then smaller repetitively), nothing too wild.
Either way you don't have to worry, that bomb's already pretty sick looking, honestly.

yeah, i meant the wick/rope thing
does it burn away or just turn burnt/black?
Oh, my bad. Only a few BM games I've played had the string burn away (not turn black) then detonate.
One of those games is BM Land Touch!.

no sense fretting about it until i get a programmer/coder to tell me how it would work. :-P
spamming the doodle thread? w-what gave you that idea? Thanked by: Garamonde,
