I can do somewhat similar on MS Paint, but mostly comes out proportionally wobbly.

Anyway, been tinkering with my ref's design:

Despite being poportionally off (and a bit "super deformed"), I want your guy's opinion on this. I belive he still needs roughing out the edges but eh, I'll redraw it sooner or later.
