I really wonder if people realize that posting the word "custom" in the title is basically the first sign that the sprites inside probably aren't going to be custom.

Ya he should've used the word "customized" sprites which usually means changed the sprites around to comfort, and I don't mine customized sprites as long as they look just as good or better than the original.
And I can't tell if I like the sprites cause its too small to see the detail you should probably fix that up.

Defintion for custom, and customize.
Custom: A practice followed by people of a group or a region.
Customize: To make or alter to individual or personnal specifications.

These are disgraceful. Of the many reasons why, here are a few;
1) It's a JPG file. Don't use JPG, PNG is far superior to it in every way.
2) These are very, VERY simple recolor, not customs. Recoloring is generally frowned upon here at TSR. If it's a recolor, DO NOT POST IT. Unless it's Fire Mario, Fire Luigi, or a certain color of Koopa or Yoshi that isn't used in the game the original sprites are from.
3) It's Super Sonic, except completely red, given a different name that was more than likely randomly chosen. C'mon, seriously....
