I'm liking this. I can't imagine there's much more to rip from this version?

Nothing much really, let's see if I can remember what's left: Japanese Title Screen (Super Mario USA)/Border Prototype Title Screen/Border Prototype Player Select (the curtains are different) Stage Intro/Pause Screen Prototype Bonus chance screen Some Prototype sprites (lamp, heart, the prize money sprites, unused smiley face that the Cutting Room Floor uses as a logo and unused sprites) The font They can all fit onto one sheet. Also on the large sheet, a few poses are missing due to an in game bug of not displaying the last animation cycle.

Ha, good choice for the icon too.
Nice one man

The blue creature in the 8th row is missing one frame in comparison to the US/EU-version? Weird.
By the way, is the green dragon boss from the US/EU-sheet supposed to look like that (glitch) or was that a mistake? The JP-version looks correct to me.

Yeah, for the boss it was a mistake as usual and updated here:
Shadow of the Beast (Genesis) Enemies and Bosses I'm really sorry about that and didn't know that until you told me to double check. Blast my worsening sight... Added: TaleSpin (TG16 version, Other Consoles) Enemies and Bosses A new sheet and the glitches are like that in game and in ROM.

Added:
RoboCop (Arcade) Playable Character A classic that surprisingly hasn't been ripped yet, in fact I don't even think any RoboCop game has been ripped on the site... Pac-Mania (Genesis) Playable Character Had this sheet unfinished for ages but decided to finish it the other day. Also before anyone points it out, the facing down direction does have one less pose than the others, it's like that in ROM and in game. Viewpoint (Genesis) Playable Character This game is too hard for me (like most games but this one I can't even get to the first boss) and most of the ROM is compressed but it has all the poses of the ship. I just wanted to try this out since people call this the closest thing to Zaxxon on the console. Oh and there are also the sheets above this post in case nobody has had a look.

You should play Viewpoint on the Arcade, it's way better!

Great! All saved!

Yeah, I imagine that the Neo Geo version is best considering that it is the original and most ports back then weren't as good (Viewpoint isn't too bad than some of the other ports for the system though).
Added: Final Fight One (GBA) Playable Character Okay, I looked at the site for a rip to do and to my surprise, Mike Haggar hasn't been ripped yet so I thought that I ripped him. Also it seems that Final Fight One is basically the SNES version + Industrial Area & Rolento + Cody and Guy from Street Fighter Alpha 3 (and the art of them, Rolento and Sodom) as well as some changes. It seems from that name that they might have considered porting Final Fight 2 and 3 as well but scrapped plans for it. Enemies and Bosses These two are only in the Japanese version since Billy and Sid take over their place in the American and the European versions. Speaking of which there are some changes between all 3 versions like Belger having a normal chair instead of a wheelchair in the European version and that the Western versions mucked the game up a bit (music in the wrong places, difficulty changes, some censorship like the Club sign and Oh, My car!). Hang-On Jr. (Arcade) This version of Hang-On is what the Master System version should have been (it even uses more or less the same hardware). As for ripping it well it is quite a story. First off checking MAME and realising that there is no tile viewer for this game (actually also for most Sega games as well where if it does have a tileviewer, it is backgrounds only) so I thought of using TileGGD that some people used for arcade rips. No joy there until I realised that the game ran on Master System hardware and thought could it be ripped with TileMolester like the Master System games? It turned out to be yes and ripped it. As for the palette, it seems when saving a screenshot in MAME, the colours on this game darken up for some reason but if I check the palette viewer, it is the same brightness as MEKA so yeah, I used the same palette as the palette viewer. Oh and before anyone notices, yes one of the bikes is glitched. It's like that both in game and in the ROM.

Are you sure about Slash? I just compared the two and I'm not seeing any difference.
--- Nevermind I found it, kinda weird that the jacket has such a difference.

Final Fight One (GBA) Enemies and Bosses I never thought that I managed to get Andore done but it's done. Also yes, Rolento is in his correct palette (instead of the green palette that the original arcade version used) due to that Capcom retconned his palette to match his Street Fighter Alpha 3 art. Game & Watch Gallery 4 (GBA) Modern Games Misc The section is in a bit of a mess so I decided to rip some more from this game. If the Rain Shower game gets done, then the Characters sheet is no longer be needed (due to that Bowser comes from that game) and if the Menus/Credits get complete then the random General Sprites sheet (literally, it is like a couple of poses per section of the game) can be removed all together. Also Donkey Kong Jr. Modern needs sorting out since both sheets are missing poses of each other. |
