For the Stage Builder, will be making the existing box from Brawl, or are will we have custom-made pieces?
Wanna try my hand at the stage builder parts
I guess the one from Brawl if you want it has to go great with the game it would be awesome if you made those maverick good luck

I think there should be a system, such as submitting custum stages. Like one option to make a stage from scratch or make a one with pre-set tiles and such

If I hear that game one more time I'm gonna lose it........
Really we are trying to stay away from Sprite Mixing like Smash Flash
actually i kinda hate smash flash cause the game sucks in speed, moves, and all that stuff

Oh please, you know you love it so much.
Anyway, how many of the stages are actually done? (little to none i guess)

I'd say none XD. In our style, anyway. That reminds me; will stages be in the same style as the characters? If not, then I'm sure Runouw has a few of them already (FD, Battlefield, and Corneria). Whatever happened to that Smashville I seen earlier?
I know I getting annoying with these questions, but will the music system be the same as Brawl (Multiple songs per stage) or Melee (one song per stage)? Or would you cycle through the songs you want to play before the match, like in the Tenkaichi series?

Final Destination and Mario Bros. is done, and that's about it I think the music system should be the same as Brawl's.

not really. actually i like the first one's programming. not the sprites cause they were crappy. I also dont like smash flash because of all the third party characters

That's a retarded reason to hate a game to be honest. Now if it were ONLY third party characters that would understandable, but I personally hate Smash Flash because of the horrible programming, style clashing, and resized sprites.
And if I remember, movesets were p. horrible and broken, and the controls were pretty slippery also, lack of homage of stages to whoever was in, except maybe a few.
Smash Flash was bad.

^I second this. The sequel seems good so far though.
Also I thought of an interesting idea. Instead of spending months (or years) working on sprites for every character, we could just Brawlify existing sprites of said characters. That way they wouldn't clash. Seems like a much easier task if you ask me.
But that's my opinion, if you want to stick to the FSP (Fantasy Smash Project) that's fine

We could do that, but most games don't use the same scale so it would look weird that way.

What about the melee stages that are on the website or are they not considered part of the group because we have Onett, Melee Final Destination, Yoshi's island and Fourside are really good stages I guess?

While the flat zone customs would work, the others wouldn't fit with the new style.

The Flat Zone would work, but as Shadowth117 said, the others would just clash. The Yoshi's Island stage is just rearranged SMW tiles T_T
EDIT: And I think there should be customizable events If that's possible...
