Anyway, I'm taking all these crits into consideration and will do what I can to fix it.

It's not bad, but something about the face seems off (SSJ3 forehead?) and the shoulders might be a bit too upward. I dunno. It looks alright though.

Well in all the sprites so far, the eyes ave something directly on top of them, giving them a shadowy dark look. Since my sprite has no hat or bangs or sunglasses or whatever, I tried to keep the dark eye look while showing the forhead. It makes it look like a caveman, though. I'll play around with it a bit.

That's mainly because every character so far is wearing some kind of headgear that would produce darker shadows over that specific area. For characters that have no headgear or it's a light headgear, it's not gonna be exerted nearly as much.

as for my sprite, I can't custom to save my life so i made an EXTREME KEN EDIT to show height, proportions, etc if someone would like to give making one a try

I'm 6'3" but about as skinny as ken is so I left the arms/torso basically the same
also note the lack of skinny jeans as I do not wear them; my jeans are always slightly baggy but not parachutes
I wear glasses.
I made the further shoe one pixel longer. I dunno what size this translates to irl but I wear a size 12 shoe.

outfit, etc:
Glasses
Baggy jeans
Black t-shirt or hoodie with a pokeball on the front
Black and red bookbag
If you're going for detail, the shoes should look like this (http://www.myairshoes.com/wp-content/upl...05/424.jpg) because that's what I wear irl

preferably a visible pokeball belt but doesn't matter
A hat is optional

Black Bandanna across my forehead.
Grey zip up hoodie.
Brown under shirt.
Fairly tight black jeans.
And some Brown Nike Dunks size 11.

yes in my twisted world Luxray is part dark.


I always thought he was until he got hit by Psychic and it only did normal damage.

Nah, it's okay. I'm keeping Sandshrew. Sandslash and Scyther might be overkill for a random dude doing blow behind the Pokemon Center <-- I should totally be doing this in-game, Tyvon.

I'm just wondering if my proportions are correct. It looks like tyvon is supposed to be 6'5" but his head goes up to 6'7" on the scale.
I'm 6'3" and I look really short compared to him :p
Is it the hat that adds the extra height?
I was just wondering since ken appears to be wearing a hat but stops at the correct height, while tyvon goes above it.

Just lettin ya know I'm keeping tabs on this project as it seems real interesting. Are you guys only focused on pre-existing pokemon or are you making custom ones for this too?
