When I heard the news for Sonic 4, I was all for it.
I'm nowhere close to the rabid Sonic fanbase, and I was legitimately hyped for the game.

Then it got leaked and is literally nothing more than a rehash of the old games with Sonic Rush physics, and not an actual sequel like we wanted/sega promised.

But that's a different discussion for a different thread.
If you want to talk about it there, I'll be happy to.

Topic: I still hold firm that Metroid: Other M aka MOM! is going to give a more reflective look. It's pulling things out Giz because maybe it needs to in order to work in the framework of an action exploration game. The one thing I will not enjoy is serious back tracking being pulled. I better be backtracking the hell out of this game.

I've only played the original Metroid and some of the Prime games, so I can't say if it looks like a good Metroid game, but it seems like it'll be enjoyable, at least.
