Fuck, I want to play Dig by Incubus but I can't import the Lego songs unless I buy it, and I don't wanna dish out 50$ for that. Anyone planning on buying it for PS3?

Would renting it work?

Nope. IIRC, there's some sort of code that's required to get the songs imported, which you can only get when you buy the game.

The only song I'm decent at on Expert difficulty in any Rock Band title is "Where'd you Go?" from RB2, and only on bass. Figures that no one I know has the vocals to sing that...

Nevertheless, I enjoy playing, though I have to use a lower difficulty than preferable.

There's a one time use code on the booklet or something, and the place I rent from doesn't provide booklets with the games.

Quote:Cambridge, Mass. – Nov. 13, 2009 - Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that Them Crooked Vultures are premiering on Rock Band beginning next week with “New Fang,” the single from the band’s self-titled debut album. The song will be added to the Rock Band Music Store and LEGO Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation® 3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.

The debut self-titled album from Them Crooked Vultures, which is composed of Dave Grohl, Joshua Homme and John Paul Jones, will be released Nov. 17 in the United States, the same day and date that “New Fang” will be available for Rock Band download on the Xbox 360. The band released the single as a free download for fans Nov. 3 and has been streaming their full album on their website, www.themcrookedvultures.com, since Nov. 9. Blah blah sorry it took so long. Opinions/Decisions:

Hate AFI; Walk Like an Egyptian is a catchy tune, but I doubt I'll ever download it; and the Them Crooked Vultures song isn't as groundbreaking as everyone is making it seem, but it definitely has the fun factor -- a likely buy.

I miss the 11-song weeks we were having for a bit. With those, there was a better chance I would like something. :/

Rented Lego, found a working code in it, now have an addition 45 songs in RB2

Life is grand.

I have over 200 songs on my copy of Rockband 2, and I've only paid around 50$.
(25 for RB1 and a guitar, 20 for RB2, and 5$ on DLC.)

I love gamesharing.

I thought the Lego Rock Band transport was $10. Question
Thanked by:
It can be gameshared, so me and my friend shared the cost.
Also last night I also imported the AC/DC Live songs since my friend had the disc laying around

haha

Just by glancing at the last few updates, it seems like Rock Band has been releasing way to much shit from the past decade. (And might I add, they're not picking fantastic songs.)

They need to have more stuff from the 60s - 80s for download, if you ask me.

Whelp, there's a good chance of a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers Live 6-pack this Tuesday, according to a VH1 leak.

VH1 leaks have never been wrong.

I hate Tom Petty, and I hate live tracks. Whoo-hoo.
