What are you playing?
It depends on what kind of game you like? I get the feeling I'm going to have to finish it before a lot of stuff will make sense, but I'm enjoying what there is so far?

The characters are... not flat, but there's not been a lot of backstory revealed yet, but their interactions are good! Like I said, the combat can get tedious, but it's fun! It's definitely different, takes some getting used to, but once you do, it's a lot of fun, and the levelling system is new as well.

So if you can get it cheap, pick it up, I guess?

Think next up I'll finish Spirit Tracks.

The N64 one? Or the easier DS one?

N64 version. I don't know where my DS one went :-\ I think my sister stole it, because it disappeared along with StarFox: Command, which I found out in the yard a couple summers back...

But yeah, the N64 one.

I decided to finally beat Super Mario Land today, after having always died in the first level of the Easton Kingdom when I was a kid.

This was worth it.

Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure. Oh my god it's fantastic. Honestly, it's Spirit Tracks all over again, this is just so much fun. Not only is the gameplay so well done, but the humour is great too and "Tea Time" is the best thing ever. I'm just having a blast with this.

Also up to the third episode in Justice for All. It's interesting, I love Ace Attorney games, I can play them for hours and can't get enough of them, yet they're not one of those "whoa this is stupendous" games. I'm not underwhelmed or anything, but maybe it's just there isn't much new or intriguing gameplay or mechanics - not that it needs it, AA is awesome just the way it is.

Then you sir have done something truly great. Though Mario Land can be completed in under and hour with very very few deaths. So completing DKR - awesome, SML - not so awesome.

SML was pretty awesome to me. Thought I'd do it again today!

I didn't know it was a contest Very Sad

Edit: Decided that, while I had my girlfriend's GBA around I should break out some of the GameBoy games I haven't had an opportunity to play. I mean, I have an old GameBoy that runs just fine, but it's a little hard on my eyes. The SP has a beautiful screen and adds a touch of color to a lot of things, and I greatly enjoy it. So right now I'm playng Super Mario Land 2 for the first time.

Super Mario Land 2 is a lot better than the first one imo, I remember devoting a lot of time into it to get all the secret paths and stuff.

Right now, I'm playing Candy Pang on my aunt's iPad. It's a casual cutesy-poo game where you tap on groups of same-colored blocks to break them. Not difficult, but it does get chaotic once you master it.

also oh my god Game Center CX is an awesome thing and I can't stop watching it

I know when something is amazing because only this and Ghibli movies can make me sit down for more than 20 minutes

WiiU Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed.

Damned Ring Races, makes me pissed off to hell and back. However having Vyse from Skies of Arcadia and Nights in the game makes it all the worthwhile playing.

It even has Beat from Jet Set Radio and B.D. Joe from Crazy Taxi. I nearly Star Ranked Vyse (Increasing ranks gives more mods for your vehicle; different stats).

Well, that was an awesome game.

Except for Wario's Castle not having any checkpoints and the game occasionally deciding that I didn't press the Jump button... That wasn't awesome...

If that DKR post on Screw Attack is yours by the way I'd have done a LOT more fact checking...

Wario's castle has got to be one of the HARDEST Mario levels of all time. When I was a kid I went in with 99 lives. I lost every last one. Even when I played the game again on my 3ds yesterday I beat the rest of the game in about an hour at most. I probably spent 30 minutes and a lot of lives on his stage alone.

Which one? The characters and copyrights one?

I've been looking at that crap for several years, and it's a hugely muddled mess. Ownership of those characters isn't as clean cut as Geno and Mallow are. Unless somebody from either Rare or Nintendo comes forward and actually makes it clear, we really don't know. We can make a lot of good guesses, like that they all belong to Rare, but that's still just guessing.
