Uh, no. You only needed to *see* the National Dex. Which is absurdly easy if you don't intentionally avoid trainers and beat the e4. Try harder.
Specs 'n' Headphones has been revamped! Check it, yo.
Thanks to Pik and Solink; they are sexy people.

thats probably going to be moved to a new location considering they are adding a new region to explore like in FR/LG

News Update:
Quote:Pokemon Sunday is now airing. If there is any new information on HeartGold or SoulSilver, it will be posted here as it is revealed.
They just announced the two games, showing their logos.
Banners unrolled out of the party balls, saying the release date is in Fall.

But FR/LG had you only had you to at least capture 60 pokemon of the regional dex and beat the E4 once to get the National Dex
D/P/P you had to at least see all 150 (170 or something like that in platinum) pokemon on the regional dex to get the national dex after beating the E4 once
Your probably thinking about Ruby and Sapphire to where you had to battle/trade/mix records with someone who had FR/LG and mannaged to get the national dex and look at there trainer ID to get it.
might want to think harder about one said before jumping to a conclusion grooveman
I love how they make your starter follow you in the game

Fuck yes. Yellow style! If the starter follows the whole game, I'll be in love more than I already am.

Diogalesu, you said "just as long as you don't have to catch every single pokemon in the regional dex like in D/P/P" so yeah, Grooveman didn't say anything out of context.

If it's Yellow-Style, I'll love Johto even more.
And, Gold got a nice sprite update. I'm only sad the characters are still sprites. I mean, it's like Paper Mario if you think about it.
Still thinking of a new name.

Actually its 210 due to getting all the pokemon that had an evolution in the DPPt generation, and their pre-evos, and some legendaries that were only available through the national dex, so it's quite a bit more.
EDIT: I hope the pokemon in this game are spread out a little bit better.
I don't want to wait till the near end just to get Ttar >:

I doubt they'll do that. The only reason that stupid Pikachu wouldn't evolve was because Yellow was suppose to be the "HEY IT'S SATOSHI FROM THE ANIME WITH HIS PIKACHU!" version. That Pikachu was like the one in the show, resistant to evolving.
