But, Gold probably wont be called Heart.

And I was thinking that certain pokemon come out on certain conditions.
Then i thought, what if you don't have the pokemon in your party at the time? The event couldnt happen.

And as for Pokemon following you, well, I believe that they only do that if you have no pokeball for them, right? So maybe that hints that egg pokemon follow you, and that you befriend the starter pokemon you get instead of battling it.
