I was thinking that earlier; maybe Mario could fly off the screen and when Yoshi returns to normal Mario drops from the sky at the same time?

Or he could just sit there. I seriously think you guys are over thinking this. It's nothing more than an alternate costume. If anything, Baby Mario should put on a cape and nothing more.

Yeah, the two best things I could think of were bubbling until the FS is done or just put on a cape and sit there. Bubbling would involve unnecissary programming and simply putting a cape on is just better anyways.

Personally, I see Yoshi as one of those characters who would be better off without an alternate costume.

Who knows maybe Galaxy 2 will provide Yoshi with a nice alt? We have yet to see all the thing that will happen to Yoshi in that game.

Why do you people even want him to fall of Yoshi's back. ALL that would need to be done is to put one wing in a layer in back of Yoshi and one in a layer in front of both him and Baby Mario. Then like others have said possibly add in a cape to Baby Mario. I don't think that's as difficult as you guys think.
