If it's only you and 5 people, that's both a waste of forum resources, and putting a group of people on a pedastal for... what reason again? Because people moaned that their nostalgia goggles don't reflect the forum now? That tolerance for being an ass to people has since decreased?

Honestly, I'm curious. If there's a valid rational explanation that a group of members (that don't actually contruibute to the main site) should have special board rights; then kindly explain to me. Otherwise you're just gonna look selfish and petulant, and we wouldn't want that, would we?

@groove: Everyone bitches and whines daily about how unfunny and terrible Spamhaus is. It wasn't going to be "me and my friends" it was going to become and my friends and anyone else deemed funny". This was my fix, my suggestion to fix it. I was not the one who implemented it, but I was the one with the idea. Dazz was kind enough to make this forum for me as a possible fix to Spamhaus, but you paraded your fruity gay pride flag into there with an army of password bombs about ready to explode to the brim.

Do you honestly want my valid reasoning? My reasoning is that this was my idea, created form my visions. Not yours. If you don't like it, don't use it. But it's too late now, you've already claimed your mark. I honestly don't care but I also have the right to campaign about how fucking gay it is now.

A password would've been leaked anyway. Eventually, and by pretty much anyone. I'm not cold (or interested) enough to hand out passwords myself, but at the same time I'm not prepared to deny people an ability that they really should have anyway, since it's part of the board.

While it's your vision, that doesn't mean it's the correct one. It doesn't make your initial intent any less selfish, either.
