The results of my first collaboration...
#1
Hey guys, your friendly neighborhood KoA here. I've always worked alone on spriting my whole life, but recently I decided to band together with an old rival of mine and do a piece of pixel art together. This piece is symbolic of us becoming good friends and proves that rivals don't have to hate each other.

Anywho, we finished this after about a week of collaboration and I must say, it's one of the better things I've done. My partner is a highly skilled artist and I think we complimented each other well.

Here's the final creation:

And a lil WIP animation of our progress. Except for the first two images, each one represented us tossing it back and forth to each other.

haha no

it's good but parts of it are pillowshaded, and other parts just look pillowshaded because of the lack of contrast, there's multiple lightsources, and the anatomy doesn't make sense in some parts

that's all i've got right now
give me a few more minutes i'm sure i'll find more

Looks awesome to me. But I guess that's because because I'm a noob at making P.A.

You have some jagged lines, and your colors could be a bit better.

The line art is very good, but the shading could use some work. The feathered parts and the neck have a noticeable amount of pillow shading, and while i gather that the light source is from above, the underside of its body and front of its neck are no darker than its back (and back of the neck).
which doesn't make sense according to the light source.

also, the feathers that are extending towards the yellow wings are shaded like solid cylindrical objects rather than feathers.
