These details come from online game magazine, GameReactor…

- New buttons
- Wii Speak Compability
- See your Wii mail from within the browser
- tab cube keeps track of 6 tabs, can be made invisible
- 500 Wii Points
- due out this December
- If you paid for the first version of the browser, you don’t have to pay for this one

Now if only Nintendo would update the other channels...

Yes. They've been working on it for a while now, but the Twilight Hack and Homebrew Channel always update accordingly.

The Nintendo Channel has an update available for download in the Wii Shop Channel. But it's one of those behind-the-scenes updates. Nothing major.

Good. I don't want to pay again for a browser I dislike anyway. I only use it if I need to check something really quickly and don't want to wait for my laptop to boot up.

Wii Menu 3.4 has been released as an update.

What's new:
1) Wii Parental Controls have been enhanced.
2) USB Keyboard support added to Mii Channel.
3) System enhancements to improve speed and stability including greatly increased SD card transfer speeds and better disc reading speeds!
4) Wii User Agreement has been updated.

WARNING:
1) Homebrew users should not update because this blocks the Twilight Hack and PatchMii. There have been reports that some users have lost unauthorized channels/software (including Homebrew Channel) as a result of updating.

2) Nintendo can now update your Wii console without your permission including deleting unauthorized channels/software if you upgrade to 3.4.
