Character Tweaks [revamped first post!]
I think you should replace the punch combo with Tri Attack-- it's pretty much the same thing, only way cooler. I think it'd be cool for him to have Tri Attack, but he should probably have a more psychic-oriented move.

To be honest......NO!

I think that most of those Final Smash ideas are not even suitable enough for Mewtwo.

Even though Mewtwo has Swift in the game, it really doesn't work well with him being you know ultimate clone.

The punches would never work, he doesn't punch he uses his psychic energy.

Don't know much about Future Sight.

Seismic Toss.....This would never work cause Mewtwo is a psychic not fighting. He would never learn this attack.

Bulk Up, or Psych Up don't know about either.

Those are my opinions.

I think his FS should be Confusion or something. Basically, heres how it would work, everything on the screen would invert except Mewtwo and no one (aside Mewtwo) can move. You can then beat the snot out of them, after which the combined total of damage would decide the knock back (20%= small, 100%= huge knock back). Obviously you are going to want ot time it to get as many people as close to each other as possible so you can rack up damage/knock back on multiple people.

I'm telling you guys, he psychically lifts them up, then slams them into the stage. Would look awesome.

Think of Mewtwos up-grab (but instead he ends by throwing them downwards) with every character (and item) nearby at the same time and much more powerful.

You could just call it Gravity, Mewtwo learns it in HGSS. Moving them up with telekinesis + slamming them down with Gravity. The gravity effect would KO anyone not on the stage when it activates, and would still cause knockback.

So... a bit like Seismic toss then?

Yeah, haha.

It could just make all air born character slam into the stage, and those already on extremely "heavy" and sluggish, allowing Mewtwo to steam roll his way through everyone. His main attacking moves could also be replaced with moves like Fire Blast, Blizzard, Zap Cannon, and something else, seeing as how these moves are most commonly used on Gravity teams. Or we could just over power his moves or something, Gravity's whole shtick is that all moves have one hundred percent accuracy but I don't quite know how that would be implemented.

We don't have to change his whole moveset for one attack. Pikachu uses thunder and Thunderbolt. Charizard uses Flamethrower, Fly, and Rock Smash. The SSB games go for practicality, not for competitive movesets. That's like saying we shouldn't use Mewtwo cause he's an uber.

I didn't say we shouldn't use him or anything like that, I just it would be cool that during gravity that he would use some of the really powerful but low accuracy attacks since that is what gravity was made to do in game - not that these attacks have low accuracy in brawl, just a reference in game that these would have perfect accuracy under the effects of gravity. I thought it would be more interesting than slamming everyone into the ground at once, since that does not seem really flashy or exciting for a final smash.

EDIT: Come to think of it, gravity seems more assist trophy material, making jumping harder to use for whatever amount of time, meaning getting knocked off stage would very easily kill you.

EDIT2: Either that, or have everyone in midair get slammed into the stage, and those off to the side of the stage are killed (you know, falling into the abyss), everyone on stage has the effects of the metal coat 'gravity' except for Mewtwo, so it would kinda like you're knocking around metal versions of everyone, but have the normal effects of being hit ie flinched, knocked back, as opposed to those in actual metal coats, who need to be very highly damaged to start receiving the knock back/flinch effects of being hit.

Oh, and are we going to keep Mewtwo's Shadow Ball really shaky like it was in GSC?

That helps keep Mewtwo from being some form of a clone of Lucario

One similar move =/= clone. By that logic, Lucario himself is a clone of Samus because they can both charge up B moves to fire straight-flying orbs of energy.

Ah, got it now.
I somehow had it programmed intomy head that Lucario replaced Mewtwo as a clone.

Anyway, how does everybody feel about including each of Deoxys' formes into his moveset? (eg, his defence form is his shield, and/or down+B (if his down B is a defensive move), his speed forme is his running (in the anime it can very quickly transform) and Up+B (provided Up B is a movement move) etc)

I'm pretty sure that's what we were planning on doing. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong though.
