New things for Platinum

And, in regards to Shaymin, I bet they'll release it in 5 years when no body cares about it anymore. And, in that time span, they'll have released another Pokémon game with 3 or 4 other legendaries that'll get the same treatment.
At least that's what the trend today shows.

Since Shaymin is already been exposed, I think there's a chance you can get it in-game possibly. Of course, there is already, but you need that darned event item. Pokemon Platinum's going to have something different I bet...considering they're showing off Shaymin when Nintendo is being moot about it for the moment.

It is. Costume change, I think there's a little storyline change, new areas (Like in Emerald, the Battle Frontier), and there's that super spiffy 3-D Eye candy...more of it. Oh, and Giratina appears in Spear Pillar too I hear...o.o

Costume change doesn't really affect the game very much, storyline change would be good but it'll probably be really minor, ...

When I say something really major I mean much more major than the change from Ruby/ Sapphire to Emerald.

I dunno. I like the new outfits and I'm curious on what else is new (hopefully a lot more things than what's been listed so far). If not, then I have no interest...
But I'll probably get it anyway. Cause I'm lame like that.

Also, Shaymin's new form looks like a reindeer (and Superman). I like Giratina's Origin Form, it looks neat. And what's up with the whole "Putting an 'e' at the end of the word 'form'."?
It's somewhat stupid...IMO.

i heard there's gonna be a "sky" form for Regigigas, and if thats true then it looks like they're saying "oh, we take it back, these lengendaries dont ACTUALLY look gay, because look at THIS!"

Nah, Shaymin's got the Sky Form that seriously looks like a n Ice/Grass Eeveelution. Apparently Regigias gets and Ice Form. Since Ice s the type of one of the Regis, I'd assume he also gets a Rock and Steel form, too.

Anyway, the Inverse Universe looks awesome, and it brings the DS's 3D abilities to it's full extent, from what I can see:

Also, apparently the reason the character's have new outfits is because Sinnoh's weather is getting colder, so they're dressing warmer. So, there's these two guys investigating it. You can see them in this magazine scan, their in-battle sprites are on top of a screen capture of Eterna City, which has piles of snow in it:

Things I could pick out of the video include:
- A new Intro
- New Wi-Fi Minigames
- All Pokemon have completely new Poses
- All Pokemon have a new Back Animation
- Trainers have animations
- New Gym Leader/Elite 4 Intros
- And of course, the new Pokemon forms at the end of the video

I don't know about you guys, but if those Silhouettes are just different forms of an existing Pokemon, I think they all might be Rotom...seeing as how they all have an 'appliance' look to them...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I recall reading on Serebii, to get the Regi's, you need a special event Regegigas
