It's kind of a self-confidence issue...

I want to keep the colours neutral for now, since when he gets different abilities, his costume changes; and it would be nice from an animation standpoint if his getup went from something neutral to something vibrant. So you *feel* more powerful, even without attacking things.

On which note, I still have to decide what 'classes' I'm gonna fuse. I shall decide on a list of 6, then choose 2.

So for now my to-do list for this entry is as follows:
- Complete 'normal' version of Main Character (pretty much done)
- Create 'class select' menu wheel
- Create 'class fusion' icon (difficult)
- Create class-fused version of Main Character
- Create pretty background to place things on

Working on the class select wheel now, although if there's anything outstanding on the MC I'll be glad to go back and fix it.

Only the base of the Menu Wheel done so far, next come the buttons for said wheel. Faux RPG now gets a Project Name, just 'cuz.

Don't ask me why, but I felt like going back to the contest entry that I won with, but no one gave a shit about.


If nothing else, I'll probably dick around with colour concepts and outfit designs for the other Genre Attunes.

anyway the newer versions definitely do look better, and I'm really curious to see what all these outfits will look like cause at the moment he looks rather formal so it's hard to imagine him/her/idk in a well, lets say goth rock outfit.

Well I'm currently gonna try and do the Hip-Hop Rogue (Which is considerably more casual), with the other 4 Class/Outfits being

I'll post some colour-sceme ideas first before having a crack at the clothing design.

To alleviate confusion, let's say she's biologically female, but identifies as male.

3 different schemes, using a bit of reference from existing colourshemes of the fashion. In the same way that Jazz's theme colour is blue, Hip-Hop's theme colour is green, so it features in all 3.
'Graffiti Artist' is a bit of a halfway house between the bright vibrant colours of the 80's and the monochrome of of modern gangsta. Natch.

Like I did with the last Style Attune, I've done the pose in his normal clothes first. Although that prolly requires more tweaking; it's prolly solid enough for me to re-outfit.

Might I suggest that Gangsta rap be changed to colors that are a little more gangsta?

I'm pretty sure it uses too many colors, so it'll obviously have to be tweaked, but I think this conveys "gangsta" better than brown, forest green, and a dull-purplish color.
