What a retard. Either EB Games has really gone downhill, or that person is too closed-minded for his own good. (Or both.)

On the subject of Galaxy, I recently beat the game at a friend's house. It really wasn't too bad. Sure, it's not Super Mario 64, but people shouldn't expect the best out of Nintendo all the time. If there are certain aspects of a game that people disapprove of, Nintendo will probably try to improve upon it in the next game they release.

The same applies to NSMB. I didn't find the game to be a superb Mario game, but they were trying something different. Whenever you dive into new territory, it's likely not going to be perfect. Nintendo clearly has improved upon the original aspects of NSMB in the new Wii installment, and if they make another NSMB game, they'll probably improve upon it even more.

Ummm, NSMBW is gonna be apparently very hard, which is why they have that helper system. I think thats atleast a nifty way of resolving that problem with casuals. Also, I don't get why some people think Mario games are that different from before. You ever seen someone beat Super Mario Bros. 3 and immediately start a new file? No.

Galaxy was great, I loved it. But it lacked exploration. SM64 you could choose to get all kinds of Stars right from the beginning, you could choose to fight the boss on the summit, or free the Chomp, or grab the eight red coins and so on.

Galaxy you had to do exactly what they wanted you to do. No freedom or exploration.

For the most part I could remember what you have to do playing the game because most of the time the levels were very linear, except you playing as Luigi and for the most part it got boring.

Luigi's control's weren't completely different, for the most part they felt exactly the same as Mario's controls, just with the common differences that Luigi had since SMB2.

It wasn't bad, but there could have been a few different level layouts specifically to make it feel less repetitive.

Galaxy was fine but unlike Delfino & the Castle, the Observatory was basically just a 3D Menu. The castle you felt alone but things happened like the draining of the water, getting to the roof of the castle and an endless staircase. Sunshine had more of a people in trouble effect with different villagers, the flooding of the island, Shadow Mario running about, where as in Galaxy it just seemed like Rosalina no matter what point in the game would simply tell you "Go get another star".

Yeah that was a lame hub. But I must say Galaxy had the best control out of any Mario game. It was much easier to get Mario to do the moves you wanted him to.

Yeah, I never really liked Galaxy. It was like they put all their energy into the controls and level design and left out all the unique content. I didn't have to fight the same boss 12 times in Mario 64 or even Sunshine. Why did Galaxy cop out?

A video I have just seen which I think has been posted by Game Trailers. I have fallen in love with this game, I didn't like the graphics because it looks too much like the DS version which yes it is a sequel but it didn't look that good, but it just looks amazing, I mean look here and say that this isn't a good looking game.

Am I the only person who doesn't like the Super Guide feature? I mean, I understand why they included it to help less experienced players enjoy the game, but honestly, it fells like it takes out part of the fun for me. It sort of removes the whole "Nintendo Hard" element from the game, you know? Back on the NES and SNES, we had to figure it out ourselves or with the help of magazines, internet, etc. Now, the game just straight up tells you what to do.

It removes the whole independence and puzzle solving/exploration factor for me.
