You need to download the java stuff from Sun site or whatever. I did it on my folks' computer and it ran like a charm. My computer didn't needed this, through.

Well, because of my computer illiteracy, I have cursed myself to a limbo where I cannot reinstall Java, and nor can I ever uninstall some remnant that is left over. Thank you Windows Vista, and thank you Sun Systems for making me cry manly tears of blood. :<

Two of the main villains in the SNES version of Sparkster, essentially the main bad guy and the lackey Colonel. I cooked up icons for them, sans the text, because my Paint would just muck that up. Does me making icons make it easier or harder for you? xD

Also I forgot to mention something about the Sparkster sprites: for the two bosses that appear in multiple levels, their palettes change from level to level. It is less noticeable with Wolfheim, but still there. Axel Gear on the other hand, he makes a total of three appearances, and his palette changes all three times.

The lion is a female and the coyote reminds me of Willy Coyote from Looney Tunes
Great rips, why you don't include all palettes in the sheet?

Very cool.

You mean like make a palette on the side? I dunno, maybe I'm afraid I'd miss something. xD Also, do you know for a fact that the lion's a female, other than the "Lioness" in the name? I always thought that they were just being stupid, but it HAS been ages since I've seen any trace of the manual for this game.
"Rejoice!" I have another rip randomly! I THINK it is my first Japanese only game.

Haha, yeah I saw the Lioness thing and was like "Whaa?" and the palette changing is pretty hilarious.

I was joking, after all Lioness is a female lion, right? He looks like pretty much male to me.
Oh, Majyuuou. Great game.
11-15-2009, 06:30 PM
The name is just stupid in general... hahaha, general. Why not just call him "General Lionissimo" or something like that? It'd still be silly, but not as silly as suggesting he's a transgender robot overlord. xD
As for Majyuuou, I have more sprites ripped. They just need assembly. Mostly the bosses, mini bosses I might do another time.

All saved now. Do we have a Majyuuou section yet? Cause I might need a good screenshot to make an icon out of.
