At least it's made by Konami instead of Ubisoft unlike Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled which that ruined a legend there, they should had just ported the classic arcade version instead...
I got alot of faith on the New Rocket Knight Adventures does anyone here remember or played Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles the remake of Rondo of Blood?
That remake kicked ass!! It has a new epic 3rd Final Form of Dracula and it comes with the orginal Rondo of Blood plus Castlevania SOTN as unlockables...
So said to sad people here have a little faith in this game just because of graphics..... Well the graphic here look a hell alot better than Zelda: Ocarina of Time and people still talk about that game today and never I heard anyone bitched about the graphics for that game except for the new generation kids.... (Link to the Past will always be my favorite Zelda game and it's alot better than Ocarina of Time in my opinion..)

You're a fucking retard, we're not bitching because of the graphics, no matter how shitty they are considering that this is a next-gen title. The game in general doesn't look fun. It looks poorly constructed, the designs and enemies are all wrong, AND the graphics are shitty. Nothing about this looks good at all.
And Ocarina of Time is critically acclaimed because it's a good game, the graphics have nothing to do with it. It looks and is fun. This just looks poorly done. If you can't get the nostalgia out of your head to realize how terrible this game looks I have no hope for you and I hope you enjoy your bad take on the Sparkster series, while I'm over here playing the actual good Sparkster game. (hint: it's not going to be this)

And the ironic thing in Tatakae's post was that OoT's graphics were actually great, not as great as other games, but still.
compare it to the graphics on this game are easily comparable to that of a terribly made low res model made in blender. And I have to agree with every one else bout the game doesn't exactly look as fun as the older ones made.

I thought the remake of Rondo of Blood looked really awful though, I simply found out how to unlock the original version and played that.
And well the game doesn't look fun which is the main point - but I am bitching about the graphics. I mean, it does look bad. And the general rule of thumb with games like this is that if the people making the game have missed what made the older games look so appealing then they've more than likely missed what made the game so fun.

Ahahahahahahaha! Wow, this is the time when that Smash Bros voice would say 'Failure' to the developers. (Melee style, not Brawl, Brawl's too...bleh. ) Thanks a lot for ruining it guys, just what Sparkster needed, a crappy game to blemish his awesomeness. I'm afraid if this gets released it might kill him. Hopefully they'll notice the fans hate the whole thing and either touch it up, or completely abort it. And once again my opinion that sprites are better than 3D graphics stands. (Textures, bleh.) Let's see if they're gonna pull a Nintendo or not. Who wants popcorn?

Am I the only person who doesn't really like total 2.5D conversions?
(as in, the entire game is 3D from the side, instead of just like 3D characters on 2D backgrounds/tiles like NSMB)
I personally dislike SFIV over its 2D counterparts just for that.
Not only are most of the character models ugly, but it looks weird when they make the 3D animations have the same "snapback" times as sprites, meaning that in one frame their leg will be in the air, and in the next it's on the ground.
Same with Boinic Commando: Rearmed. I totally hate the graphics in it.

I wish more remakes were like MMXMH.

THAT IS STILL CALLED 3D, 2.5D IS A BULLSHIT WORDING. THERE IS NO HALF DIMENSION.
Anyway, if it won't cost too much I think I might buy it. I mean, better try first before moaning, right?

Ah everyone still calls it 2.5D, even the people who make it.
But well I liked Rearmed just fine, thought it looked good. The MM remakes on the PSP (along with Ghouls n Ghost) didn't look too great mind. And Trine (though not a remake) looks pretty great. TMNT Re-shelled lost a lot of the originals charm and colour and looked pretty bad all together. I really hate polygons on 2D backgrounds (aka NSMB), 2D sprites on 3D backgrounds (aka Paper Mario) looks fine though.
But well in all honesty by today's standards both of the Sparkster games on the MegaDrive (Genesis) kinda sucked, seriously go back and play them, your fond memories are simply that - memories.

^that
I played it the day this one was announced. I found it every bit as fun as I had before.
Now there are plenty of games I play for nostalgia's sake, and find my memory to be flawed.
Now concerning this game, I'm going to try it, I have SOME hope that it'll be decent, but I doubt it. =/

RKA on the megadrive is fast, furious, funny, adictive, beatiful and a great example on how Platform games should be made.
that Rocket Knight game was so slow it puts konami on shame.
