The hell
Have you ever even touched a mother game
For starters, PK teleport would be used on someone like Ninten, where he could charge up and ram into people causing an explosion. PK teleport was not used at all in this game. Also PK teleport would never work like Zelda's Up B because PK teleport requires a running start.

Ness also used PK Teleport. But that's not related to what we're talking about is it?

For his laser gun, I never really noticed an attack he did in game that was actually telegraphed as being made from his cannon. For that reason, I'm wondering if his laser would have some sort of PK Love effect... or maybe I HAVE seen the graphic for his gun and it kinda reminded me of PK Love only because it was geometric and blue. In fact, now I think I HAVE seen it... Basically, I'm wondering about the Gun's mechanics, whether or not it's a neutral or a smash special.

True, but Ness has better Psi at his disposal thanks to the Smash Bros series. I'm not saying he didn't have it just that it would be used on Ninten, not a villian with as much potential and diversity as the Masked Man.
@Tom: Well, the Masked Man could use PK Love by himself, the Laser was just an extra attack. Actually, the line from the game when he attacks you falls along the lines of "...shot a beam!" It's possible that the laser could be used for more than just a laser, it could also work as an Up Smash.

Yeah, I was thinking that maybe for Smash attacks it could do some kind of cool blue geometric explosion. I also picture it as a slower, shorter-ranged, more powerful attack than say a Star Fox related beam. Yes? No?
Maybe it works as a close range high knockback attack?

Well, we never really talked about how the laser would influence the smash attacks (that I know of). What would we do for his Nuetral B if a Star Fox esque laser is a bad idea?
I also don't want to have so much knock back on this character. It seems like all the new characters that were added to brawl got way to powerful :/, I don't want the masked man to fall along the same lines. The >B already has the probably of having high knock back with all those bomb options. Up B will follow the same trend as the usual Up B for Mother characters, and will have some sort of knock back (despite being complicated).
IDK I just don't want another over powered character, I just want him to end up being fun.
EDIT: Screwed with the Masked Man's helmet
Kept the originals right next to it
Yes/no?
Maybe so?

Farthest one on the right, IMO.
I think the shading on the second head (disembodied head) is prety rad.

Made edits to both, tried to smooth out the original and improve the newer one. I really like the new ones head shape more.
