The main problem with it currently is the awful palette.

Edited it a little more. Still not thrilled with it, but I think it's a little better.

The lineart is brought out more but really the only thing that can fix this is a better palette. When are we going to do that universal palette?

Looks awesome. But the sword seems to thin at the bottom.

Should we see his eye? It shows it in both his overworld and in-battle sprites.

I didn't see his eye in any of the artwork I was using...

Or maybe I was wrong about the eye. My last idea would be to make the black/blue jacket brown again to be closer to the in-game sprites. It looks great, man.


I was messing with the colors. Notably the skin and oranges. I couldn't get a brown to look right.

Is Masked Man's saber a solid blade or is it an energy blade of sorts?

The overworld makes it look solid but the battle sprites make it look like an energy blade. He can also summon lightning with it, making it more confusing. I thought it was an energy blade, so that's what I've colored it as. I'm not sure if there's any official art we can look at.

Nope. Just a sticker and it's just his sprite. I'll look around.
