To be honest, I don't even see the point in trying to reason with bnewton anymore.

we've just about told him 100 times that his advice is absolutely useless
then he starts to argue with us
then we tell why he's wrong
then he goes on to copy what others do
then we tell him to shut up for the first time as nicely as we can
Then he goes on about to say that he's being hated for no reason
then we tell him why
then he starts throwing another shit fit
then we start to tell him to leave the topic politely as we can while holding our frustration
then he starts acting childish flaming every body
and everyone just loses there minds
nobody is happy and it leads into a flame war.

to be honest, we should just lock this topic at this point, all it has come down to is nothing but a never ending back and fourth argument that won't stop because of bnewton's nonsensical ignorance. it really just should have been dealt with a long time ago when it was starting and yet none of the mod's have really been doing anything about it. And medevenX wants to make another topic for the sake of it, or just wants to have unlocked with this stupid argument removed, then he can be my guest. But I'm not a mod to decide that.

In my opinion locking this thread might not be very good to do, we must ask the maker of this thread if he\she want's this topic to be locked or not.
If he\she doesn't want to, the nthe most simple and easy way to finish this flame war, is to make bnewton either leave or understand that his comments are very childish and that not many people want to hear what he has to say.

Also Alica, I think MedevenX could understand why this topic has been locked if he read it. Like I said, if he wanted the topic to be restarted then he can do that. We might as well add that a mod can PM him why it was locked and let it be his decision to re open it or just start a new topic for the sake of it.
