Tails or Knuckles?

Seriously guys we can avoid this whole disagreement if we just forget putting another SEGA character in.

Do we need two SEGA reps? No. Could we use a better variety of third-parties? Hell yeah!

This has more priority over the poll at hand.

But if I really had to, Knuckles. The only reason is because I see him more of a fighter than Tails. Though I'd like to see how his moveset would have came out :V

Meta Knight can be seen as a villain just as much, if not more so than Knuckles. As can Wario and definately Wolf. All three were in brawl, as was Dedede (who I assume was the "one more" you mentioned). We also have Mewtwo (who can be seen as a villain), and not one but TWO Mother villains you forgot in that list. So we have 3 Mario villains, a DK villain, a Zelda villain, A Pokemon villain, a Metroid villain, 2 Kirby villains, a Starfox villain, and 2 Mother villains. That's 12. That's over 1/5 of the total roster. Also, the FE rep could be Black Night, which would add another villain.

Geez, I don't know what was going through my head when I posted. xDDD Melee definitely did have a deficit for villains, only about 3, and the original Smash had NONE, so I stand by that statement. Brawl got it a bit better though, and I love the villains currently in this roster. xD

After this poll closes, I have an inkling feeling that koopaul's points that he's been bringing up may bring in another whole poll whether to have a second Sega character and whether to make more openings for other 3rd parties. xDDD Not that I'm opposed to that, I could go either way, really. Hell, I could go either way with the Tails and Knuckles poll, I'm easy to please.

Also, if Knuckles wins, I have movelist suggestions! I pretty much make movelists in my sleep. >_>

Meh no offense but even though Knuckles is a way cooler character and has a way better possibility for a moveset it would still make more sense for Tails to get in over Knuckles. After all he's like to Sonic as Luigi is to Tails. But I personally like Knuckles better...

But yeah my statement before about the third parties still stands. Sorry if its annoying you but I just think its a WAY better idea than what we're doing now. And I actually have people backing me up this time

Ya, my opinion is about the same as Koopaul's. Having Tails over Knuckles makes more sense to me. Have Knuckles over Tails would be like having Wario over Luigi.

I don't think we can compare Knuckles to Wario. Unlike Knuckles, Wario has his own franchise, and can represent himself better than just being a Mario character. Probably the reason Wario appeared in Brawl as a starting character, instead of a secret character like Luigi.

If Wario Land and Wario Ware didn't exist, Wario would be a secret character in Brawl. and your comparison would work better.

But seriously, I like Knuckles better than Tails except in Sonic Adventure. So I'm biased as shit in this arguement.

I voted Tails because:
1. He came before Knux.
2. I imagine Knuckles being like Little Mac.

Though, I don't like how the Tails moveset is at the moment and if he isn't playable, Sonic's intro could be Tails flying him into the stage with the Tornado.
BTW, by popularity, I'm fairly sure Shadow would have to be in. I think he's the most popular Sonic character.(Not to me, I like Espio XP)

Knuckles has a better propensity for combat, and next to Blaze, is one of the only friend of Sonic who isn't an annoying shit.

I picked Tails,
I think he deserves it more then Knuckles because it doesn't matter who has better moveset (look at some characters who never fought in there games and have movesets) or who is more cooler, it's who is more iconic.
