That's what I was originally saying. However, I could lean either way, to be honest. Having all elements gives him a vast variety (Go Planet Diver!), but on the other hand, when I played the game, I found myself giving him all earth Dijinn. =/ -Shrugs- It's a tough one, if I do say so myself.
I'd say keep his Specials earth based, but integrate the other three elements into his different A attacks.

To quote from the Golden Sun Wikia:
Quote:An Adept is a person in the Golden Sun series who can use Psynergy. There are four types of Adepts, one for each of the elements: Venus (earth), Mars (fire), Jupiter (wind), and Mercury (water).
Generally an Adept can only cast Psynergy of his or her element. However, the elemental spirits known as Djinn (singular: Djinni) can affect an Adept's Psynergy, either granting them Psynergies of other elements (if the Djinni's element is different than the Adept's) or making their existing Psynergy stronger.
I would agree that you might want to stick to the Earth based Psynergy. Also, the idea of the different types of Djinn as items is not such a bad idea. When you think about it, we already have attacks with elemental types in Brawl:
Venus -> Earth -> Charizard's Rock Smash, Donkey Kong's Hand Slap
Mars -> Fire -> Bowser/Charizard's Fire Breath, Mario/Luigi's Fireball
Jupiter -> Wind -> Link's Gale Boomerang?
Mercury -> Water -> Mario's FLUDD, Squirtle's Water Gun
Instead of throwing the Djinn, they could probably act like the Fire Flower where you can carry them around and use the A button to attack with that specific element. You could probably use the single Djinn summon from Golden Sun to get ideas on how they should strike.

Or, we could take that idea, run with it and make Djinni an item that spawns one of the four Djinni onto the field.

VENUS DJINNI
Aww, ain't he cute? This critter is called a Djinn in the Golden Sun world. It's element is Earth, represented by the "Venus" in it's name.
Wait, he's running away! You gotta catch him!
Why? Well, Djinni have special abilities. You'll never know unless you catch him. But first, you gotta knock him out!
A simple punch has done the trick!
You just captured the Djinn! You'll notice that your Health Bar has a little Djinn on it now. You can now summon the Djinn by pressing B, just like a Final Smash!
You've summoned Venus! Watch it do rapid fire damage!...that's it?
Venus itself isn't very powerful...If you want a real summon, find at least two of these Djinn suckers! Then unleash the Egyptian Titan Ramses!
Beware it's fist, one hit from that will send you flying!
You can collect up to four. Four allows you to summon the strongest of all the summons...Judgement!
Djinni can be knocked out of a player. The higher your percent is, the less likely your Djinn will be knocked out of you.
...or something like that. IDK.

If I can just mention that Ness and Lucas can use moves in Brawl that are not usable in the Mother games, so why restrict Isaac to a Venus only moveset despite being a Venus Adept in Golden Sun?
Since Garet (Mars Adept) is Isaac's best friend, wouldn't it make sense for a Smash game for some fire being incorporated with Isaac's moves? Also for Isaac's Final Smash, might I suggest Titan Blade? Personally while I am a fan of Judgment from Golden Sun, it would be better and more Smash like for Titan Blade to be used.
Titan Blade could work by having it drop in the center of the stage. Any unlucky saps caught in the middle take big damage (60-70 damage) and get launched while those at the edge can either avoid taking damage or take light damage (5-10% damage for being in the outer radius of the Final Smash). For multi-tiered levels, you can also dodge by hiding on the lower platforms/ground if the Final Smash is going to hit the upper platforms.

Later this week, I might do quick sketches to show how he'd look with an all Venus moveset, and a mixed moveset. Using the different Psyenergies isn't a problem at all in the games. It's just that he's an Earth Adept, and that's what people associate him with, including me, but who is left to represent the other elements? That blond kid? *PFT*
Well, admittedly, Saturous randomly showing up would be pretty cool looking, if nothing else.
Oh crap, I just realized, Isaac is a blonde kid too... I meant that blonder kid.

May I say that Lucas and Ness used PSI(or PK) moves that didn't belong to them because they didn't have many offensive PSI abilities. Granted, Sakurai could have just went with the supportive like properties both of them had, but then they wouldn't be very... fighter like. Them pulling moves from Paula/Kumatora and slapping them on Ness/Lucas were probably only for being more offensive and less defensive.
Isaac actually has, I'm guessing, quite a few moves that he could use with just Earth based attacks. Not to say that using the other elements isn't a good idea, I'm just saying.

While true that Ness and Lucas don't have much offensive capability in the Mother games, I'm just saying that the characters don't have to remain 100% faithful to whatever game they originated or based from.
Isaac can still be a majority Venus user with his moves, but still have a few attacks based in other elements (like Mars for example). Though the catch would be what non-Venus Psynergy would make sense for Isaac and be appropriate for a Smash game?

Let's do this.
Issac will be primarily earth Djinn and the rest will be items.

Bane84, If Isaac had a mars djinni on him he probally would not shoot a fire ball because he would have Briar or Blast and Blast seems short range
