Before I post My moveset, are we limiting Issac to just Earth related Psyenergies? or all elements?

We should just do Earth Psy abilities.

Using the different Psyenergies isn't a problem at all in the games. It's just that he's an Earth Adept, and that's what people associate him with, including me, but who is left to represent the other elements? That blond kid? *PFT*Every element except wind has a really cool character behind it. Earth has Isaac/Felix, Fire has Saturos, Water has Piers/Alex, and Wind has...well, it has that telepathic guy, right? Anyways, how's this for a special moveset; Neutral B: Clay Spire; Issac throws a Stalactite(gmite) foward. Average range, Average damage. Up B: Mother Gaia; Rides on a series of stones that do good damage. Basically a hole opens up in the ground, and rocks fly out, and he rides on one, upwardsly-like. Side B: Potent Cure; Restores 30 damage to his counter, but takes a while, and if he's hit in the middle of it, it's halted. Down B: Quake Sphere; three rectangles of ground shoot up and bounce to the sides of and under Isaac. Limited range, but good damage. The quake looks like this:
Took a little time to come up with this move set. I really like how it could turn out if sprited properly. Anyway, this set-up has Issac using his sword as his normal 'A' button attacks and the most commonly used of Issac's psyenergies as his 'B' attacks.
Normal A Attacks Grounded Neutral - 3 Slash Sword Combo Left and Right - Running Sword Thrust Down - Low Sweep Kick Midair Neutral - 2 Slash Knock-back combo Left and right - Upward Diagonal Slash (Starting from left foot, finishing slightly above and to the right of his head) Up - Overhead Arced Swipe (Arced as in an arc) Down - Falling Axe Kick B Attacks Neutral - Ragnarok - Summons a large sword from the sky to crush opponents. Hold B the charge. The longer charged, the more damage dealt. If fully charged, when the blade hits the ground it generates a small range extra explosion for increased damage. Issac is very vulnerable while charging. (The Blade isn't HUGE, it would be about the size of issac.) Left and Right - Spire - Throws a earthern spire at opponent for moderate range and damage. Holding B longer increases range. Down - Quake - A small circular AoE quake around Issac for 3 seconds. Invulnerable during quake unless attacked from above. Up - Uses lift psyenergy to throw Issac upward to do an epic sword thrust. (sword thrust can be changed to something else) Meteor Smashes - (A and a direction at the same time) Left and Right - Gaia Blade - Swings sword into the ground and sends a short distance rock tossing shock-wave at the opponent. Down - Punji Strike - Issac channels his psyenergy into his hand and slams it into the ground causing extremely sharp bamboo spears to quickly rise from the ground for moderate damage. Small circular AoE around Issac. Up - Wild Growth - Issac summons wild vines and thorns from the ground. They travel up and wrap around his sword and extends the reach slightly. Spearing the opponent for moderate damage. (Like link's up A meteor smash except instead of the sword dealing the damage, the vines do.) Throw - Move Psyenergy - Its a large hand, alot can be done with it. Final Smash - Grand Gaia - Issac creates a large chasm in the earth sending Huge rocks and molten metals shooting up out of the opening. Large Circular AoE around Issac. If a player gets hit they will most likely get thrown off the top of the screen. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is just my idea of a good Issac moveset. If you need me to sketch what wild growth would look like just let me know.

You folks seem to forget that Venus doesn't just span Earth; It is also Plant. Just as Mercury adepts have Water and Ice powers, and Venus adepts have Wind and Lightning powers.

I think Ragnarok should be a final smash. It's too epic to be used as a neutral charge B.
Maybe have Isaac charge his Mother Gaia instead for Neutral B, and have it as like a Earth Barrier that spins around him while he could potentially run around and collide with other characters. A collision will wear down the barrier. And if he shields, he loses his Earth Barrier. Thanked by: Ton

Summons are OP. And there's so many to chose from, I'd stray from summons as Final Smashs.
And the fact that you'd have to sprite out Judgement itself. Boy would that be hard.

If summons are OP in the game... shouldn't that be a reason for them to be a Final Smash? :I

Hmm, I do see your point. =D
*Pk Starstorm* *Super Sonic* But, I don't know, it doesn't really stay original to the character's powers. Kinda like Ness using PK starstorm when he should've had something like PK Love Omega. And, Lucas could've at least pumped out PK Ground, that shiz would've been epic. BAM! bam bam bam bam bam! The fact is that every other character in GS could summon Judgement if they had the right djinns set. But only Isaac could use Ragnarok when he had the Earth Djinns set on. And unfortunately, spriting Judgement itself will take quite a while to finish, and to approve in the eyes of the TSR. Yeah, pre-TTy hard.

The thing with Judgment is mainly in the backgrounds and the explosion special effect, but there's a loophole in the backgrounds to get Judgment done faster. Use other in-game backgrounds if possible to make up the scene changes from the center of the explosion to the current stage screen (where the end of the explosion radius fries everything except the summoner).
Also Judgment himself wouldn't have any lengthy screen-time. He'd only need a few poses at most for the appearance and launching of his one attack.
