Then follow up with Tales of Abyss Persona 3-4, Odin Sphere's good too for Action RPG. If you see something Nippon Ichi and they tell you it's an RPG buy it. Those people know what they're doing. That ought to keep you busy.

DQ3 and DQ8 were the best imo

the only problem with the dragon quest games is that they force you to relentlessly grind. Cross a single bridge, and enemy levels jump by at least 5.

DQ5 isn't bad in that regard. I only had to grind at the start, since I was WAY too low; and then all the other bosses were just a matter of having the right setup.

Hows that Phantasy Star(Generations of Doom i believe its the name) where you have to play as the hero, then chooose a girl to marry, and then play as the son of the hero?

The idea of the game is good, but everything is kinda... Broken. Bad programing, the game should have around only 5 sets of tiles, annoying dungeons, plot holes everywhere, under-developed characters by the end... I ripped all the playable characters so I played with ALL generations, so, yeah, believe me. It's Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom. But I enjoyed the first generation (Rhys) and Ayn's (when he marries Maya) is cool.
