Costumes (Will reopen later- NO NEW COSTUME IDEAS FOR NOW)
Sonic Riders costume is not just goggles, It is the goggles, The Ark of Cosmos on his arm, and his new shoes. So this like a debate on whether or not which one would suit him more.

I got a costume for Bowser Jr. Shadow BJr.

Just make that an alternate colour, not a costume (as it's only a simple colour swap). It could be the blue or black colour. Speaking of colours, should we have all the colours (red, green, blue, yellow, black, white) for ALL characters? I noticed some characters had more colour choices than others in Brawl. Every character could be classified into one colour from that list and having colour changes for the rest. For example, Pikachu's default colour is yellow, Sonic's is blue and Mario's is red. The team colours are still the usual red, green & blue.

I think that would be a great idea, but would put a great deal of EXTRA effort to what is already a lot to do. I think some programmes allow you to recolour sprites automatically, but im not definately sure.

Extra effort? You can recolour entire sheets in Photoshop in a minute or two.

You can do it in MSPaint in a minute or two.

I didn't think you could do it easily in paint
Thanked by:
Yes but it's still much easier in photoshop, where you can change multiple colours at once.

Yeah, there are a couple ways to do this. In paint, you can use two colors, A front one and a back one (the back one is normally white but you can change it by using the right click button with the eyedrop instead of the left. You can draw with this color with the right click button, too. But you take a color on the spritesheet (one shade of red from Mario for example). Then, take the shade you want to replace it with and draw a large filled-in box the size of the whole sheet (or just one sprite if that's what you want to do). Rectangle select the whole sheet and drag it over the filled-in box with the background color turned off (when you click the rectangle select button on the toolbox, a new window under the toolbox should appear with two options; background color on or off). I know there's other ways that involve the eraser tool, but this is how I always did it.

With the eraser tool get the color you want to recolor in the foreground/front box, and get the color you want it to become in the bg/back box. Simply select the eraser tool and hold right click. If you go over the sprites, instead of erasing the whole sprite, it simply replaces the colors.

You can also do it in GameMaker. Just upload the entire sheet as a sprite, select the color you want to change as the first color, the color you want it to be as the second, and click color swap.

Um that was my initial idea aways back. To give everyone an equal amount of colors:

Red
Blue
Green
Yellow
Dark/Light
Other (usually Pinks and Purples)

Those are just my color preferences you don't have to follow it.

If you use Ctrl and + you can make the eraser the size of the screen, which is more efficient
