What are you playing? c'mon, tell me punk!
It's a real shame the Wiiware version of Strong Bad never lowered in price. I want to play it with a Wiimote. I'm not sure the Wii Shop Channel is capable of price drops. It's just so... primitive.

Guys, am I the only one who's played Read Only Memories? If I am, why?

Just got Dragon Quest Heroes for myself. I've never really played a Dynasty Warriors sort of game. I remember back in the day that X-Play really didn't like them for quality issues and repetition, but this seems to have been well received and I like Dragon Quest. I'm not far into the game, only just unlocked the alchemy pot, but what I've experienced has been good.

Found myself replaying A Link Between Worlds. Love that little gem of a game.

PC, been off and on replaying bits of Shovel Knight (and the Plague of Shadows expansion). Other than that, Warframe seems to take up most of my gaming time.

Just finished Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows...

...That was great. Some portions were way too frustrating, but as a whole it was a great experience. This is how you reuse game assets in a way that makes everything feel fresh. It really did feel like I was coming into a whole new game and experiencing the enemies for the first time.

I'm curious what Yacht Club can do with the other DLC, though... King Knight is very similar to Shovel Knight, and Specter Knight can fly...

I having a lot of fun playing Civilization V, the empire management is very cool and there are a lot of ways to archive victory. The AI player’s personality provides an interesting touch in the game. The last couple of games I played with Washington in the map he was a complete bipolar fellow.  The first match he was peaceful only minding his own business. Next match he was a total jerk backstabbing and declaring war with everyone.

Also got Star Wars Empire at War, the space battles are epic, but the ground battles…

And I still with Hearthstone as usual.

I bought Metroid Prime Trilogy on eShop recently and played through 1 and 2 for the first time.
Metroid Prime 1 was great! It's exactly what you'd expect from a 3D Metroid game. Aside from the Artifacts and one switch I couldn't find without the help of a walkthrough, I had a blast and now I have the Fusion Suit to wear on my 100% run (I'm at the very beginning on Tallon IV on my second run).
Metroid Prime 2 did more wring than right and right now, it doesn't deserve completion from my end. Environments are bland, some bosses are bullshit (fuck you Spider Guardian and fuck the final bosses) and even with all the info I can gather in-game, I got stumped way more often than in Metroid Prime 1. It's an unintuitive mess. The light/dark world shit makes navigation a huge pain in the ass. Oh, and if you like collecting the Artifacts in Prime 1, you'll fucking love collecting the Dark and Sky Temple Keys!
And if this post looks like an excuse to rant about Metroid Prime 2, my left hand is still shaking because I timed out against Dark Samus, who I had no fucking idea how to beat without the help of the internet and even then I couldn't tell when the bitch became Dark Samus 4 until I had 20 seconds left. Yes, I am looking for an excuse to rant.

To summarize: Metroid Prime 1 = awesome. Metroid Prime 2 = shit.

P.S. I'm pleasantly surprised with the motion controls. I think it works better than using a C-stick.

I finally started to play the digital copy of Animal Crossing New Leaf I got as my final Club Nintendo gift. I'm having fun with it so far, I'm almost ready to pay my 198k bell loan and the construction hasn't started yet.

That's a shame. Though I will admit Dark Samus 3/4 is fairly challenging. (Use Super Missiles if you still have 'em on 3! Though I can't remember if the Dark Beam is especially effective either like in the second fight.) Just be glad you're not playing the GameCube original - I know you mentioned the C-Stick, but that wasn't used for aiming (good ol' hold-R-stand-in-place), and the GameCube Normal is basically Trilogy Veteran except even more difficult.

Meanwhile, I've been playing a lot of Bayonetta lately. Gearing up for her Smash Bros. release.

The only problem I had with Metroid Prime 2 was the Boost Guardian. Hardest boss in the game, I think. I don't know how I beat it when I played again on hard mode. I've never played the Trilogy version, only the GameCube.

Oh, and about those temple keys - I never had a problem with them! But I'll admit that I was lucky that I figured out they were all in the opposite world versions of the rooms with the dead Luminoths once I grabbed the second one.

I failed to make that connection :/
Then again, I couldn't be bothered to remember where all the bodies are.

Decided to sit down with Resident Evil Revelations after having started it one day last month.

Holy shit is this game making me stress.

If you had scanned the bodies, they all have unique Luminoth Lore that hints to where the keys are.

And I believe at the actual door to the Sky Temple, each of the key slots can be scanned to give you hints to where all the bodies are as well.

Either way, all the information is actually in the game.
