It's in the same pose, but looking epic. I know, I made it. I was trying to improve it. RE: Pokemon Pink - Chris2Balls [:B] - 01-10-2009 There's Primeape I eyeballed a Mitsuhiro Arita illustration for that (Team Rocket Deck, Bad Primeape) I'm sure I can do more to it, and I'll need to find the dimensions for the sprite. RE: Pokemon Pink - NarutoGlowbal123 - 01-10-2009 Awesome Primeape, but XG hasn't been on so much so she might not like see it, but its awesome overall. RE: Pokemon Pink - Wes - 01-10-2009 XG is a boy. Also, the primape is good, but the pose is boring. he's just standing there. For a fighting type pokemon, he should be punching or something. Also, the hands and feet look too small and blend together a bit witht he way you have it positioned. RE: Pokemon Pink - NarutoGlowbal123 - 01-10-2009 Lol, I thought he was a girl because or his avatar ... RE: Pokemon Pink - Wes - 01-10-2009 http://www.spriters-resource.com/community/member.php?action=profile&uid=85 profile says his sex is male. RE: Pokemon Pink - Chris2Balls [:B] - 01-10-2009 That's what I thought when doing the pose. I'll try and work on something. Thanks for the advice and comments! It's in the same pose, but looking epic. I think Sandslash looks better how it is already, I'd leave it. Also, the spriting quality on Primape is fantastic, though the pose is a little boring, as has been already said. With that quality of spriting, that will look amazing. RE: Pokemon Pink - Chris2Balls [:B] - 01-10-2009 Thanks for the compliments Okay, changed the pose but not happy with it =| What do you think? RE: Pokemon Pink - Hoeloe - 01-10-2009 I like it, but I think he needs bigger hands & feet and thicker arms & legs... RE: Pokemon Pink - Chris2Balls [:B] - 01-10-2009 Okay. Will fix that. There you go: I'm not so sure about the cross now =| RE: Pokemon Pink - X Gamer 66 - 01-12-2009 (01-04-2009, 01:00 PM)EpicWes Wrote: I tried fixing Tauros's leg by making it smaller to seem as though its further back. I redid Marowak's arm and head, both turned out really well IMO. I wasn't sure what to do with Dewgong and Snorlax, though.Golem looks really nice so far, only real problem is our right foot, which is unnaturally twisted to far toward the screen, and a bit small. Otherwise, it's great. Tauros looks awesome too, I'd say just make his tails a pinch longer and our rightmost leg a bit thicker. Snorlax also is quite nice. The top of his back seems a little too highly raised and pointed. Also, I like the "Zzz"s, but considering the sprite would be flipped in its profile, I think it might be a good idea to remove them. Still looking great though. Love Marowak, I don't see any problems. Basically everything from Dewgong's "waist" down looks really off. Its tail is thin, its tail fin looks really sketchy, and its smaller fins look a bit too small. Excellent stuff overall, though. (01-07-2009, 07:46 PM)Shyguy Grey Wrote:Nah, you're good. Yours looks quite awesome, so I'd be glad to use yours, at least until the old one is posted and we can compare them. No offense to Tuna but the one on the sheet is better.Lineart's good, its a good pose, but its wings and the lines along the belly look sketchy and good use some AA touch-ups, and it's also way overhsaded. It's certainly coming along very well, though. (01-10-2009, 05:02 PM)Chris2Balls [:B] Wrote: Okay. Will fix that.Everything looks great, but its hands and feet need to be a lot bigger. Also, the body may look better with slightly more shading. Otherwise, it's awesome. Sorry for general inactivity on my part, I'll try to set aside some time tomorrow so I can update the list. It's certainly coming along very well, though. Heh, overshading seems to be a thing I keep doing. I'll have to work on cutting it down AA was done in about 30 seconds, I wasn't really intending that Dragonite as a final version, but was just touching up what I thought was wrong with it, I'll edit it how you said though, see how it turns out. EDIT: Ok, hows this? Fixed everything you said (to some degree at least) and added more muscle to the wings. RE: Pokemon Pink - NarutoGlowbal123 - 01-16-2009 Lol that's really good, but if you make the wing too sharp at the edge it'll ruin the sprite . RE: Pokemon Pink - Chris2Balls [:B] - 01-16-2009 I think that the shading is badly applied on the tail, and that the AAing should go on the outside. I find that the sprite looks flaky (because of the latter AAing I was talking about) and that you should try and make it bigger. I also suggest some shading underneath the rings of the belly would look good. Here's an edit, it's not perfect but could put you on the right tracks: |
