RE: Pokemon Pink - Tea - 08-05-2010 the arm furthest away from us looks crippled and the claw everywhere just look off. RE: Pokemon Pink - Hoeloe - 08-05-2010 Bottom Right. Any improvement? EDIT: Noticed an annoying spot of banding on her stomach. Attempted to fix it: RE: Pokemon Pink - X Gamer 66 - 08-05-2010 by your powers combined, I am an acceptable Nidorina? RE: Pokemon Pink - Hoeloe - 08-05-2010 The uppermost back spike looks a little oddly shaped, but apart from that, that looks excellent. My only real problem is that the pose is now exactly the same as the reference. I know it was similar before, but I had originally intended to do a different pose entirely, and when I started drawing it just came out similar. I tried to make is as though the front legs were almost pawing the ground, rather than just hanging there. RE: Pokemon Pink - Star - 08-05-2010 I thought the reason that pic was there was to make the sprite look EXACTLY like that...FFF Anyway, it looks great. Just AA a few areas a little bit and it should be fine. There are a good number of official Pokemon sprites that are heavily inspired by or flat out copies of pre existing art. However, I still encourage original poses. I'm ok with having a handful of "rip off" poses, as long as the project isn't flooded with them. A small update today. I just added the newest Nidorina, and I tried a new Nidoran (F). Also, small edits to Aerodactyl. RE: Pokemon Pink - Koopaul - 08-09-2010 Not too important but I think Onix could be more bulky. RE: Pokemon Pink - Locked Achievement - 08-10-2010 Slowpoke and Gyrados, too, could be more bulky. Machop could be re-done, because it doesn't look like right RE: Pokemon Pink - X Gamer 66 - 08-11-2010 I see the problem with Gyarados, but I don't quite see what's wrong with Onix. I guess I'll see what I can do. meanwhile I never expected Sycther's head to be so fucking hard to sprite. Something still looks odd about him. RE: Pokemon Pink - A.J. Nitro - 08-11-2010 I think it might be the face. The mouth seems really big. RE: Pokemon Pink - Chris2Balls [:B] - 08-12-2010 nidorino, had a lot of problems doing him. RE: Pokemon Pink - Tea - 08-13-2010 Doesn't look like its from a pokemon game. RE: Pokemon Pink - Kyleglor - 08-13-2010 This is my first custom Pokemon sprite from scratch so not much to expect. I know its not the best but its better than nothing. FINAL EDIT: Fixed (his) Left Arm and (his) right glove, and put his sholders into there static position. Also i would like to know what you think RE: Pokemon Pink - Tea - 08-14-2010 A lot of the shading looks like its embossed. |
