Straight up.

You can either get a coin, 5 coins, 20 coins (note that the coins scatter about) or the Shield. And there'll be a random Robotnik symbol that summons a baddie out of the TV instead of an item.

I remember saying this a few post back.

I don't like the ring thing. I think it'd be better if it was just a monitor with a regular shield inside it. You can pick and throw the monitor, but to get the power-up, you must destroy the monitor, creating a shield that lasts for something like 40% damage or 30%, and that's it, nothing else out of the TV monitor. (and maybe having a Robotnik monitor too)

Choice Band/Choice spec from pokemon. Increases the power of A/B moves, but restricting you to only using them.

Sounds like a very unfun item, IMO.

What about only being able to use one A move?

I think it'd be cool if it only affected the A moves.

Def. not B moves. You could end up getting blown off stage and getting screwed with a DownB.

Would be better as the Giant's Knife, I think. That way it breaks after one use.

Then nothing will happen of course. Only if you connect with something. Maybe it'd be better if only you connect with a player and then it breaks since some characters item attacks touch the ground at the end.
Strive for victory. Vanquish defeat. And always pack the extra 1up.

Idk, I think it should be unbreakable, but it should be very, very slow. That way the player either has to pick between a really strong attack that's easy to avoid unless used at the right moment, or there normal moveset.

Or at leas let it have 3 swings, each of which causes it to crack.

Limited usage sounds good to me.

So, should we have unlockable items? Kinda like in Kirby Air Ride, how you can unlock certain items.
