The down smash looks good DeepSeaTooth

It looks very good. Thanks so much for doing this.

Thanks for helping with this, man. It's appreciated here, and I'm sure it'll help Runouw out.

No probs, guys. I might work on about one move per day, provided I dont get too bogged down with homework and revision soon. Im virtually on top of it at the moment, so I should have no problems working on it.
It seems to be severely lacking in range. That's just me though.
By the way, can we see some of these animated? I have the slightest feeling that some of these animations might be lacking "impact." Thanked by: Iceman404

Turn, grabbed & Land, right here.
Actually, It could help as Alpha said, to animate them. Could someone else please do that for me? I cant animate them in the correct colours. Thanked by: D2S-Speed, ThePortalGuru

I just want to say that I really love how goofy and expressive Gooey is in these sprites.

Is that all you want to say?
Thats why i love working with Gooey. His cartoon-y expressions and simple movements are very easy to sprite (oh, and by the way, Ton, give your poor avatar a belt!)

Nah, but I said thanks before in my other post. I'm glad you have the drive to keep this going. I hope it becomes infectious.
Wow, some progress, thanks. Your sprites seems to do very well, but i have to point some things: the outlines need some clean up and try to conservate his volume in the "grabbed" (he just shrink, it would be better if he gets knead).
DST, I think someone has throwed a curse at us, because I can't see the right color of things on my screen (Goey's mouth is gray here)

Yeah, the launched sprites have that odd shape on the bottom.

Love the progress on Gooey so far.
As for the launched frames: I thought the jagged shape made it look more like it was just hit by an attack. Besides, launched sprites are only going to be seen when the character is moving it's fastest, so any flaw would be almost impossible to notice. Also, what happened to the old down smash (the spiky one)? I really liked that idea. Thanked by: Iceman404
