Well, It could also be something like Pikachu's Volt Tackle in Brawl, not necessarily how the Attack looks in-game...That being said, I don't know how that would work...

I do have to say, I like Gabe's Idea, kind of a Mix of Double Team (or Deoxys Anime counterpart, depending on how you want to look at it) and Psycho Boost...In this, maybe we could incorporate his different forms onto the Clones...Like Attack's Psycho Boost would hit for more Damage, Normal Form would hit for Normal Damage, Speed & Defense will hit for less (and to separate Speed from Defense, maybe Speed could 'Confuse' the opponent)

I'd like to mix the clones with my idea if possible. Like, instead of the sweeper mini orbs, the clones fly around and launch the mini orbs. Maybe you can control them some how, or you can control where Deoxys flies and he spawns the clones? And it ends with the giant finisher orb? The idea of making clones seems like it could work in a lot of cool ways.

I think you're getting a bit out of hand with this. I know every playable pokemon in the game got popular from the anime aside from Pokemon Trainer's cast, but except for Lucario the anime had nothing to do with their moveset. Clones are a bit much. Let's try and stay with how powerful Deoxys itself is.

When someone as underdeveloped as Deoxys comes into play, you need to think outside the box a bit. It is a fact that Deoxys can clone itself which gives us full right to apply that in game, despite it not being in a game. Aside from changing forms, the only other thing he is known for is cloning in terms of abilities, and SSB is all about showing those abilities.

Besides, plenty of moves that characters use are based off of things or ideas in their games that they never interacted with themselves, so using the clones would be no big deal.

You make a point. Maybe the clones can be used in some form, but I still don't know how the final smash will turn out with them in it. Maybe we should come back to this when Deoxys is closer to being finished.

Sorry to but in, but if you guys are going to use Psycho Boost for his FS, you should use its anime representation. A lot less vague than the games, where it varies from generation to generation:

Not sure if that's REALLY Psycho Boost, but it could just be labeled as that for the game.

Psycho Boost is a stat move, not an attack move.

Well, whatever its called, we could still use it

Wrong, it is an attack move. You might be thinking of Psych Up.
