Hey, just decided to de-rustify myself and realized I've totally forgot everything I ever knew about anything. Took me forever to create a half pleasing outline of Mr John Locke, but now I have no idea where to go with the shading. I can't choose a nice palette, and I just wondered if anyone could help me with tips on how I should go about shading him.

Does anyone have any good tutorials on shading?

Your skin palette is a bit redundant and low on contrast. You should go for a darker "darkest shade"/ brighter "brightest" shade to increase the range. Can't help you as much for shading though, I'm bad at explaining this kind of stuff Tongue
