Oh thanks!
I saw that on wikipedia but i didn't know how reliable it was. Unlucky yankees. Edit: Portalguru, i didn't delete your post because it was insulting to Brits I deleted it because the whole post was off topic and would of probably sparked more off topic posts. EditEdit: Just because that post was more nice doesn't make it any more on topic.

Welp, sorry bout that.
Steering things back on-topic, I have a friend who's played it and says it's AMAZING, so I'm definitely gonna have to look into purchasing this one.

iit : OMG sonic coloUrs rocks but let's not pay attention to the graphics, which is what SEGA wanted us to see, but instead, let's criticize what they knew they did wrong, just for the heck of it : SOUNDS !
IDG your post, Lexou
if they put out something that they knew had issues: they're idiots. Pretty graphics will not make me cringe less at the shitty writing and unpolished gameplay, sry. Thanked by: Rökkan, ThePortalGuru
I've emphasized how the graphics are really really wonderful in my posts :I
Quote:AMAZING graphics Quote:The graphics are REALLY amazing I've been complaining about a ton of stuff of the game, but if you also were careful at reading my posts, you'd see that I actually enjoyed it some, and how it's better than the other modern Sonic games that we've been having: Quote:There's definitely a lot of improvement and cool things Quote:But i'm typing this right after being killed thrice because of this bad design, so in case it sounds too much like "this game is terrible", it's due to that. But I'm actually finding this game really good...? Quote:it's definitely an improvement from most Sonic games, having a level design that rewards you for exploring it and motivates you to explore more and more as you unlock new powers, that and some other really good concepts merged together But it still has it's share of flaws in gameplay that needed to be pointed out. And while some of them you can overlook, others are just way too huge to just ignore. It has its good share of really good things, but it also did a good share of things, as usual, unexplicably stupidly bad. But yeah, it's definitely better than most modern Sonic games and I think it's worth a buying or renting. Also, not that it makes the game significantly less enjoyable, but now that you mentioned the writing, I thought that it feels like a huge frustration. They sometimes deliver pretty funny jokes, but they ruin them by just rolling with them after the punchline is delivered. For example, after Sonic beats a boss, he goes talking to himself with a destroyed, shut-down robot on its side: "Whew, this one was tough, I almost thought that I wouldn't make it through! Bah, who am I kidding, we both knew how this would end!" But then Tails comes and says "Sonic, are you talking to a dead robot?" and they just keep talking and talking about how Sonic is so WACKY talking to himself and how it's so EMBARASSING to do so. Ex. Fucking. Dee. Thanked by: Chutzpar, Kairos, ThePortalGuru

But seriously, I can't wait for this. And if you preorder this at Gamestop, you get a Sonic hat. Now you can show everyone how cool you are by wearing some Sonic Spines!
Holy balls (massive spoilers below)
today is a good day, gentlemen apart from that, here are the first cutscenes in the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjzrPTXWV98 not really anything spoiler-rific.

Just finished Sonic Colours.
Sheesh, why does SEGA have a fetish for overdramatic endings. The whole game is just so light-hearted and then at the ending it's like SONIC YOU MUST DO IT THE FATE OF ALL MULTIVERSES RELIES ON YOU. But yeah, um, it's a lot better than the modern Sonic games we've been having. There are still flaws like the awkward and sometimes unresponsive controls, some levels being really lame, and some bits of bad design like not being able to tell what you have to do before failing first, anyway, everything else that I've already complained, but there are some really good level designs and overall, and it's a pretty good game, specially compared to most Sonic games before it. If I had to give it a score, I'd honestly give it a 7.5. I was going to give it an 8, but the game honestly frustrated me sometimes, so I don't feel like giving it. But it's legitimately a bit too good to give it just a 7.0.

shiiiiiiiiiiit
I'm hunting those darn red rings and holy shit the level design seems to improve like ten times better when you do, because the hidden paths are so awesome to find or to go through i'm starting to love this game much more gnnnnn But then again I didn't go red ring hunting on the stages that I heavily dislike (Starlight Carnival) so that might be it.
This game looks really good. I think Sonic's new voice is what won me over.
