[make a team!] ok help me out people

watch me get yelled at for a lot of these, but I'm picking personal faves that helped me get far in the games.

normal: Snorlax 3333
grass: I'd say Vileplume, but TBH it's not that amazing. (if you can,) Try Celebi, I guess. . .
fire: ugh. I hate fire, so I can't really help there.
water: Lapras is pretty good, IMO
electric: Flaafy/Ampharos are pretty awesome. If not, choose Raichu.
psychic: Gardevoir or Slowking. Slowking has awesome defense, but is horridly slow. Gardevoir is (ok) all around.
ice: Wailren or Frosslass. Both are friggin' awesome
poison: Weezing> Roserade >Venosaur > Vileplume, IMO
flying: Dragonite and/or Togetic.
rock: Bastiodon > Omastar> Cradily
ground: Claydol/Torterra
steel: Jirachi or Metang/Aggron?
fighting: Poliwrath/ Gallade?
dark: Honchrow.
ghost: Gengar +/ Mismagius
bug: Parasect/Vespiqueen
dragon: DRAGONITE

Yeah, fire pretty much sucks. Water is the most common type, and Earthquake is one of the most common moves, so there's no reason to have one around. Want it to fly to avoid ground? Too bad, Stealth Rock is here to ruin that plan.

Infernape is all you need for fire, fastest fire type and fastest fighting and go either way for special or physical, can stealth rock, earthquake, thunder punch, flamethrower, fakeout, u-turn, nasty plot, close combat, mach punch, vacuum wave, calm mind, bulk up, counter, slack off, will-o-wisp, swords dance, and grassknot.

yup sure is best fire type around here..

Heatran also can learn Solarbeam, along with Magma Storm

Really, while Water-types, Fighting-types, and Earthquake users are the three biggest threats to Heatran, it can still do a ton of damage as a trap with Magma Storm. And a Shuca berry can soften a single earthquake, which can aid you in finishing off the opponent (Exploding works at this point)

Yeah, but then again Fire's pretty much a useless type, as stated in Ton's post.

Seriously, Infernape is the only fire type that doesn't suffer from any bullshit and isn't limited.

Heatran is only good for musical chair teams.

Just because something is legendary doesn't mean it can't be used.

As long as it's stats aren't overboard with a fucked up ability and can kill everything then it's fine, heatran is right at the border.

Does anyone know if there is a set of four moves that their type is super effective against pretty much every type?

EDIT: Actually scratch that, it just has perfect coverage. I don't think there is four moves that do that.

I thought BoltBeam (So Ice/Electric) was enough for near-perfect coverage aside from Lanturn and Magneton/zone. Unless Gen 4 has more type combos that resist it.

Also 'mon like Sableye with no immediate weaknesses are obviously going to ruin the idea of an Always Super Effective moveset.
