I finished the "site mockup" and submitted it earlier. I expect low marks, although everyone else's looked rushed as well.
Except for one, which was made with colored pencils and kicked my submission's ass.
And, also, additionally:
placeholder textures because goddamn how do pros do it
EDT- fixed the jaw. will show on next update.

If tMR grows there's a chance for a 3D sub-community.

I don't really like how saturated your shadows are, have you ever tried using less saturated shades for that??

I've found a new way to vary the skintone, actually. I'll try it with my next one, if ever.

It turns out I've been giving bum advice FOREVER - I was about to tell Slouch off for telling you to desaturate your shadows, but he's right.
This is in MSPaint-o-vision, but it's a nice rule of thumb for colouring: http://www.johnlovett.com/shadows.htm
Your middle values / base colour should be the most saturated; lit areas will be slightly less saturated because light tends to wash colour out, and the shadows will be less saturated - but also tinted, with either the compliment for your lightsource or the compliment for your base colour.
Again, with most things I've ranted about: rule of thumb =!= DO THIS ALL THE TIME FOREVER. It's cool to break rules, provided you know them first
