I really don't think the Fire Flower is going to be at all broken. It's basically the triple green shells without the shielding aspect, and a little more ammo to make up for that.

I'd like if it added a tail on the cart that, for a limited time, would allow you to spin when you tap the item button. You could use this to hit other players that are too close, or to take out items that are in your way/about to hit you.

So would anyone else be completely okay if Toon Link appeared in this game with a King of Red Lions themed cart?
Because I started thinking about it after I joked and now I wish it could happen in some way hahaha.

I'll admit I have imagined non-Mario franchise characters being in a Mario Kart game... I once had a dream where Master Hand was in Mario Kart, not really IN a cart, just flying around and flicking shells at karts.

I'd honestly rather have Nintendo pull from their list of forgotten Mario characters before other franchises. The Wario's Woods monsters, for instance.
