I guess you're missing a few frames of his fireball fatality:

well thats from MK1 but yes I have left out the explosion part because I cant figure out a way to seperate the explosion from the person he explodes because they burst into flame and become a skeleton and technically that isnt one of Scorpions sprites

You can separate the person from the explosion with vSNES, you just need a savefile from the moment when the frame appears.

how do you do that?

Quote:vSNES has no problems with ripple effects, mode 7 and screentone, try it out.

Davy Jones, he know what he is talking about. Beside if you manage to rip the rest of Scorpion's fatality sprites you will get a + REP from me
Oh, and by the way, try to keep all your SNES rips in one SNES thread instead of separate threads EDIT: I meant to say that Davy Jones knows what he is talking about Thanked by: Garamonde

alright, and I'm guessing the accepted format for that thread is "BigDOG 630's Submissions"?
If I remember correctly each character has 2 Fatalities, 1 friendship and 1 babality and a stage fatality. the babality and stage fatality dont actually have any sprites (except the baby sprites) So is vSNES different than zSNES (the emulator)?

I'm not trying to be horrible or anything like that, but yeah "BigDOG 630's SNES Submissions" something like that. If your submitting something from a different console then fair enough, start a new thread ( in the appropriate section )
zSNES is the emulator, vSNES is the shot factory. Are you familiar with Kawaks or the GBA emulator with built in shot factory. Basically what vSNES does is it loads zSNES save states and lets you disable certain sprites. I had the same problem when I was trying to rip certain fatalities for MK2, especially Shang Tsung's Soul Steal fatality. ZSNES & VSNES are your friends when it comes to ripping from Mortal kombat Thanked by: Garamonde
