Random sprite time

Got bored and began making sprites out of Gorsal's ref.

Try making the contrast between shadows and... non-shadows (what is it called again?) higher. You can barely see the shading.

Yeah, it looks really weird when its animated so i'll have to fix that later.

Posted this a while back, didn't get much feedback, but i remember someone mentioning a staircase effect, i don't know what that means.
Oh and by the way its an Anti-tank in Advance Wars: Dual Strike Style for a fangame i'm working on.

It means that the eye interprets the outline as the same shape as the red line. You want it to be more like the blue line.
