It's going to be awhile before I get over those horrendous designs. I was just hoping for a more complete, more aerodynamic radular form of Kyurem.

I'm willing to bet (though I can't read Japanese) that it's simply a "You can play this on the Nintendo 3DS too!" sort of thing. The US game page says something similar.

Not in my opinion, they're spliced messes. Kyrurem(I can't spell his name tonight heh) never came off as bulky, he came off as an extremely agile monster of radular death, and in both of those fusions, he's bulky and wonky, and his elements look completely out of place.

I believe the intentions were to put aspects of Kyurem onto Reshiram/Zekrom, not the other way around. Regardless, I am fine with the designs. I'm actually pretty fond of the Reshiram one and I think this is a fresh new take on how the legendaries interact with each other. Thanked by: Garamonde, Phantom Killah

Not to mention Zekrom doesn't look all that bulky to me either...

His arms make no sense, they became roid raged arms that are overly lanky. Idk, I just feel they dealt with Kyurem very poorly. If they were going to fuse, they should have incorporated parts of the other two with Kyurem's original design.

Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.
twice the games twice the Kyurem and if we're lucky twice as many trainers who carry the elemental monkeys.

I just hope the resources for those alternate forms are already implemented in Black/White, so I could trade one of them to myself in the first game for the hell of it! =P
Kyruem's gangly build finally makes sense now, although I'm beginning to doubt the ice type element will still apply after it assumes either of the new forms. Ah well, it wouldn't be as riddled with type weaknesses if that were true.

So according to Serebii, both the US and Europe are getting a localization by Autumn this year. Kinda early, so I hope they don't make a shoddy translation.

Do we know how the game will be? Like, new story or anything?

Don't forget it doesn't take extremely long to make changes to one game's engine even if they're supposed to be big. Thanked by: Garamonde

I'm not reading this thread because it's probably full of people whining about stuff, but can I just say that;
1. Direct sequel? Seems a bit silly. 2. I'm glad it's on DS, so we can rip the sprites for tSR. The end. Thanked by: Gaia, John2k4, water dog, Garamonde, redblueyellow
