I remember fixing all of those including the one StarSock mentioned :o
I must have not saved it... Now I have to fight with the spring again.
Edit:
I've got them all fixed now.

Well I've finally begun making the stage builder. It's going to take some time to get it working perfect though.
I even managed to make the blocks automatically adjust so you can just click around to create the landscapes. Those arrows around it are for simple scrolling. I'm going to make everything mouse controlled and really simple to pick up on.

There's so little change it's not really worth mentioning (it took me a fair while to notice what you'd actually done), and I personally prefer Gors' version.
EDIT: Post I was responding to was deleted.

I hope this is a valid reason for a bump I just wanted to keep this topic lively
A little progress update:
I'm putting some finishing touches on the level builder and then I need to design a simple gui for it. When it's done the levels can be quickly and easily made by me or Gors.
Now that I look at it, the engine really needs some smoothing out and polishing in some places. Most notably the skidding and jumping. Then I need to work on programming the overworld which shouldn't take too long. In the meantime I'll try to make something of entertaining value to play so the bugs can still get worked out.
Since I usually show a screenshot when updating progress and there isn't anything really new to show here is a picture.
Edit:
A screenshot of playing a stage made with the stage builder. That placeholder background really makes things look fuller
(It's the one that comes with game maker but it does look good)
So the SAL style is basically TFR, only platformer. I wonder if it'll be possible for cameos.
