Wish I could, I've just been using Bottles Glasses to view the models

Don't know too much about model ripping per say but this program views most of the Banjo game's models but it's not perfect. Gets the job done though

Ahem if you are wondering why Klungo looks so strange it's because I was this as a reference.
Yeah I should've probably done the N64 model instead. I also made him larger look how small he is compared to Banjo! Yeah, it especially looks bad on the white jinjo. Perhaps a desaturated version of it would work better?
I see what you mean yeah, his official artworks for Pilot and Grunty's Revenge are way different than how he appears in any game. He is sort of small in that game though, you're right lol.
I only reworked Humba because I thought her N64 model was completely off in anatomy, as you might've noticed. She's got child proportions, bar face and breasts, which make her look really deformed. So I used XBOX360's art as reference for body/age, which even if cartoony, makes more sense than the N64 version and is generally neater.
I don't really enjoy Banjo-Kazooie so I don't know about the characters' personalities as much as many people here, so if I modified them a little too much, disregard them.
Also Brentilda looks really tiny compared to her sisters. I suggest increasing her face's size so it can be as readable as her sisters', as this sprite style sports expressive faces.

she has no personality
gors is right to lean towards her nuts and bolts design, her other one is generally terrible

Yeah I'm allowing some readjustments. If things from the original models look off... Change them a bit. Of course I'm leaning more towards the original designs where Humba is a mature woman.
Proportions are going to be off though, in this style characters are a bit smaller and more compact with big heads.

Gah, I'm sorry for going all "this is wrong and that is innaccurate" back there. I shouldn't be doing that, I should be suggesting not dictating. I'll try and be a little less gun-ho about everything, I just enjoy the fun of this project.
I tried to enlarge Brentilda's head a bit. Compared to Grunty's sisters it sort of looks fitting now, at least to me
I also tried going back and mixing both Gors Humba sprite and the other one to sort of apply the best of both worlds to it

Just wondering, but do the characters have to be from a specific Banjo-Kazooie game or is this just about the series in general?
Edit: Made a Bawl in the style, I think I did pretty well with it.
I've started to animate him, I'll upload the sheet and a couple preview .gif images once I get them done.
I think it's just for the first game, but maybe if/when this project goes well and gets finished, we might consider the second game but that's only a thought for the future so let's focus on getting this done.

Ok that makes sense, good thing I did an enemy from the first game.

Sorry for the bump but, I've animated Bawl.
I'll sprite the hurt sprite later.

it looks more like he's on a platform connected to a conveyor belt that's moving up and down. Things don't automatically just go down mid-jump. Think of it as an arch.. they go up fast, slow down, then go down fast.

Actually, several of the characters sprited so far are from Banjo-Tooie as well (saying that because I don't recognize a few of them and I played Banjo-Kazooie to death) so I think anything from any of the games is fair game (though we may be ignoring Nuts n Bolts?)

Yeah, that's better. However, he shouldn't stop so abruptly. Maybe have a little squash-n-stretch (squashes down when he hits the ground then goes back to the normal stance).

I'm going to add that in a minute.

Yeah, I realized that after I re-read the OP. Still, if somewhat possible, we should try to stay a little more within the first game's range so we don't overload ourselves.
