It has claws. The TY Beanie Baby Platypus didn't have a tail. I love Platypuses and would like to see a more platypus like Pokemon but I have to admit Psyduck is rather platypus based.

Why does Farfetch'd being a duck make Psyduck and Golduck any less duck? There are multiple turtles and tortoises so I don't understand your position.

While I agree he's Platypus inspired (and that the Farfetch'd being a duck argument is pointless) but another, more Platypus inspired, Pokemon would be cool.
